- Loop of the 3 huts: Tolazzi, Lambertenghi, Marinelli, trought the Spinotti trail
Today the physical form leaves something to be desired and the weather forecasts show it as one of the hottest days of this already torrid summer. Among the many ideas I have in mind, in the end I decide to do the loop of the 3 refuges starting from the Tolazzi. I know there will be many people and that the sun will beat strongly all day, but I realy want to go back to the mountains to do some new hike. When I arrive, there are already a lot of cars and I park well under the Tolazzi. I set off calmly, trying to carve out a space of tranquility among the many people who go up to the Volaia. The first part of the climb I do it quickly, but when I get to the steeper section I start to suffer a bit and slow down considerably. Fortunately, the Lambertenghi is now in sight! I climb over the pass and immediately go up to a war post on the left. There are no people here and the view of the lake is amazing. However, it is a bit too windy and after having rested and refreshed I go down to look for a more sheltered place. I find it just below the pass, sheltered from the wind and overlooking the lake. I take off my boots, stretch out on the grass and definitely spend more than an hour here in complete tranquility. When I recover, I go around the lake and then, with some doubts about the heat, I decide to continue with the planned itinerary and to climb the Spinotti. I descend a bit towards the valley and then take the detour to the left. I traverse quickly and I'm soon at the start of the aided path. A metal ladder welcomes me and further up I see that there are other hikers intent on climbing. I take heart, knowing that I am not the only one who has had this idea. The trail climbs quite simply with some metal ropes that serve more as a handrail than as a safety. About halfway I arrive at a splendid rock amphitheater with Mount Capolago in the background. I stop on a very panoramic rock pulpit overlooking the valley to catch my breath. I slowly climb the last stretch of the climb and finally go over the opposite side. I try to understand where the Marinelli is, but at first I don't understand it and I think there is more to climb than necessary. I stop for a while to rest and then continue crossing over simple meadows and rocks. At a subsequent crossroads, I only find the indication for the top of the Coglians Peak and I have to look at the map to finally understand where exactly I am. Fortunately, the refuge is not far away! I climb over a small fork and with great happiness I see my destination a little further on. When I arrive at the Marinelli it is just after five and there is a spectacular light on the refuge and on the Chianevate and Cima di Mezzo. I stop to admire this show, before entering the refuge for the stamp, the pin and a bottle of water, which is starting to run out.
I go out, look around me a little longer and then, at about 5.45 pm, I reluctantly begin the descent towards the Tolazzi.
I go down quickly and in just over an hour I'm at the car, tired but happy with the beautiful hike.

@@MauroCattelani posso dirti che l'ho visto con gli occhi lucidi e tanta emozione vedendo quei sentieri. Un fatto curioso, al ritorno dal Marinelli, abbiamo incontrato un sacerdote che con la sua cinquecento andava su in salita. un cenno di saluto, e poi piano verso Collina. Poco dopo Ragazzi ! Ragazzi! era lui che ci veniva incontro. Era uscito fuori strada a causa della ghiaia. Rimesso in carreggiata, grazie grazie che Dio vi benedica.

Fatto tante volte è sempre stupendo da vedere quando fanno la staffetta dei tre rifugi specialmente il pezzo in discesa da paura
Non ho mai visto questa gara, ma ho visto immagini di altre corse in montagna. Non riesco a capire come arrivino giù senza ammazzarsi o spaccarsi qualsiasi cosa. Sono bravissimi! Un malgaro di Forni Sopra, dove fanno un altra gara di CIM, ci diceva che non tutti arrivano giù interi però !
Beh se vedi l’arrivo ci sono parecchi che arrivano giù con contusioni graffi ecc ecc poi loro non vengono giù dalla carrareccia ma tagliano per le scorciatoie che è impegnativo in salita fai tu 😂

The lake is really beautiful and quite easy to reach. In winter it's a little more complicated. I was there just after the first big snowfall of the year when there is no risk for avalanche. Happy you like it. Next week I should be finally in the Dolomites for a small vacation. Hope to do some nice video. Have a great day!

Ciao. Complimenti per il video e per le immagini invernali del lago. Avrei una domanda. Mi dicono che a parte la scaletta (da fare eventualmente in braccio) il sentiero Spinotti è fattibile con il cane. Me lo confermi? Grazie in anticipo.
Ciao. Il sentiero é a mio avviso semplice. La scala per il cane è ovviamente impossibile, anche se corta. Se riuscite a portarlo oltre siete bene. Poi il pezzo più ripido é quello che vedi nel video dove mi si vede "arrampicare". Poi le difficoltà van scemando sempre più. Da qui a dirti che il cane va tranquillo non saprei, non ho esperienza.
Come sempre bellissimi racconti delle tue gite. Io sono stato con la famiglia sul Volaia l’anno scorso ma avendo bambini oltre a quello non era fattibile. Veramente splendidi posti.
Eh sì. Il Volaia é un super classico, ma non delude mai! Poi lo Spinotti devo dire che é stato il coronamento di questa bella gita. Un po' sofferta per caldo e forma fisica, ma comunque me la son goduta. Ciaoooo.

Arrivato al Lambertenghi dopo 10 ore dal rifugio Calvi alle sorgenti del Piave...passando per sentieri austriaci fino al rifugio al lago Volaia quindi al Lambertenghi...fermato a dormire poi discesa in Austria per valle San Valentino
