I find coins & I collect coins.
Australia has some of the best looking coins on the planet.
Join me as I noodle through Australian 50c pieces looking for our countries commemorative coins, rare coins and coins that can be worth more than face value.
I sort through 50 cent coins looking for all the commemorative coins issued for circulation since decimalisation in 1966
Watch and follow me as I attempt to complete a full set.

Where can I grab one of those cheat sheets?

Cool 50c hunt Phil, interesting you picked up a 1975 Fiji coin, I picked up a 1976 Fiji coin 2 weeks ago, nice grade Royal Visit & 2019 IRB, but the pick of the hunt goes to the Rams Head which I haven't seen for some time, I haven't been able to source 50c coins for the past couple of weeks so I have been focusing on $1 & $2 coins. Cheers Peter J 😂✌👍
Thanks Peter.
Ive been having to hit all three on the banks i use to get enough coins for the weekly hunts.
If i can get more i will be trying to keep the live streams going weekly or fortnightly.
The rams head was a real surprise.
Hi Phil well done on the first keeper mate , nice find with the rams head, not found one for quite a while myself, keepers in $1 and 50c hunts completely stopped for me at present but I'll keep trying. Cheers buddy 👍🏻 👌
Hi Gary,
Thanks.
I am starting to get the same kind of hunts.
All any of us can do is keep trying.
Good luck.
Thanks for sharing Phil 🙂 Love the change over coin.. 👍
Thanks Linda.
All the Changeovers are pretty cool.
Watching from Bayswater VIC . I pretty much only do $2. I'm waiting for an NRL. Keep truckn Phil 🇦🇺
Thanks Ian,
Did you not get any from Anaconda?
You are even closer than me i think.
I think it could be very hard to find them in rolls if they havent already started to turn up.
Hey Ian you may be waiting a while given that the storm are a construct and a fabricated ideal! 🤑
Another awesome noodle Phil. You seem to be getting plenty of rolls from the banks despite their restrictions. Well done buddy and keep collecting ✌🏻😊
Thanks Send👍
It can be rough getting coins.
but i keep going back until i get enough.
Thanks for "releasing" it back in to the water 😜 some 'shopper' out there might be thrilled to bits to catch it again for themselves (me : 🙏) 😅 . Thanks for a "fighting" chance 👍 😂
Thanks Arty.
I do cull the collection every now and then.
Honsetly, I dont need them all. (just most 🤣🤣)
I was exciting to watch as always 😊👍
Thanks Smartfizi.
LOL the coins do all the work.
Another enjoyable noodle Phil I also keep my 2000 fifty cent coins and good luck on your next noodle Buddy. cheers. Stephen.
Thanks Stephen.
I think everyone has a few favourites that they like to hold on to.
I received a 1974 50c in my change a few days ago which is in almost pristine condition. Must have been in someone's piggy bank or a proof set to be in such great condition after 50 years. It was a nice surprise.
Hi John,
Its always great to find those close-to-new looking coins.
I always wonder what the story is behind those coins.
Like, where have they been all tis time? and have they been in a collection or just held somewhere?
2 of my 3 fave fitties commemoratives with the Rams Head and Royal Visit! Just needed the Tallships for the trifecta. The 2019 IRB was great, too. Shame on the 2nd one you found. Shame on the WA fed verdigris also!!
Thanks Yoav.
Yes, a nice tall ships with a dot whould have really been special.
So dirty that there are so many corrupted coins out there at the moment.
