- See, I told you I'd eventually upload VHS tapes again. It was just a matter of getting my capture device to work properly again, a process that made me want to bash my head against the wall numerous time over the past 2 years. It was also a matter of finding a video that TH-cam wouldn't throw the banhammer onto. I tried to upload a VHS tape I had of Bear In The Big Blue House but Disney threw the banhammer almost immediately preventing it from even being seen. In the meantime, thank you for allowing me to use this channel to upload my music videos and subsequent mixes for various Twitch streams. We now return to our regularly scheduled program. Recently I had come across the complete series of Johnson and Friends on a private tracker which inspired the creation of this capture. I have had this tape for several years but have no idea where I originally got it from. It was likely one of the many I acquired in Melbourne some years back.
I finally managed to get my capture device back on track again over the past fortnight however this tape took 3 attempts to get right. The first was fine that is until a driver corruption caused a BSOD that then came up with a CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED error that prevented my brand spanking new Windows 11 OS to load completely setting me back an entire week. I was then forced to reinstall Windows 11 however due to a glitch in the Microsoft App Data folder, I had to do it again. So I waited until I finished work on Saturday afternoon and then proceeded to back everything up before using diskpart to clean the boot disk so I can start from scratch. I then spent the remainder of the weekend reconfiguring the computer leaving the installation of CyberLink until last which was successful however still keeps coming up with an activation error. I then reattempted the capture of this tape however the audio input was vastly overblown and so I had to lower it a few notches and attempt it again once more resulting in the file you see here. There was also an audio sync issue with the second attempt that thankfully got fixed during the third attempt (third time's the charm, I guess).
I will continue to search for suitable material to upload to my channel so please be patient with me.
I swear this must be how Toy Story was inspired from and was conceived by this classic kids show. Such a classic.
This show was one of my absolute earliest memories. I distinctly remember the water bottle saying “I shall report you to the person in charge!“. Our minds remember such bizarre things lol.
