Some models of Oppo, Vivo, Realme and Oneplus are not supported. If you encounter a black screen error, then please try the other versions of Scrcpy in the blog.

@@FerozKhan-lb2zr 😥sorry to hear that it didn't work for you, the black screen issue is due to DRM rights which can be bypassed if you root your phone(not recommended). But it still works on many phones. I also have three phones - Huawei Honor View 10, ZTE Nubia Z11 Mini S and Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 5G(Snapdragon variant) and it works on all the three prones.

The old one is also not working in oneplus 6 just mirror screen for a second only.

hey thanks it worked but i have a bit of a problem, i used netflix and the color of when it starts playing a movie is a bit all over the place and the subs arent working. im still thankful tho

It felt great that it worked but after I tried wireless method and found myself very unsatisfied for video quality. I tried to shift to USb method but it isn't working. I tried unplugging my phone- replugging and also reintallling scrcpy, still no luck. Please help.
You just need to end the active session of adb to make SCRCPY work again if something like this happens. You can do it either by ending the adb process in task manager or by simply restarting (not shut down) your pc. Please reply if you still get any error.
BTW tou can adjust the quality of wireless method by changing the bit rate and resolution in command line.

Ya, I adjust bit rate and resolution yet the quality was unbearable. So, I went down to USB method. Tho It will be appriactive if you can help anyway to make the video quality better in the wireless method.

You're welcome brother 🙂. BTW which phone are you using? Because it seems that the OEM has restricted the bandwidth of ADB operations over WiFi.

It might be firmware issue. Have you tried with any other phone?

Uninstall the current version completely and Install the old version. And yes, whenever your phone asks to allow the RSA for debugging, remember to tick the 'always allow this computer' checkbox. If you're unsure how to do this then please watch that part of the video carefully. Because if you don't tick that checkbox, the connection would be set for single use only. If you're still having problem connecting then please add a follow-up comment.

Uninstall the current version of SCRCPY....restart your PC and install the old version (link provided in the article).... Also restart your phone once. Then try and see if it works 👍

Please check it with some other phone except realme, oppo and OnePlus.

Okay brother... I'll have to check this myself on any iqoo or OnePlus device.. to see what's the error. Earlier I checked with Realme.. so some realme devices work but some of them needs to be rooted. I'll try to see if any of my friends has iqoo or OnePlus with them... then I'll check and get back to you.

Check the USB cable if it gets loose and disconnected from PC when you rotate your phone.
after connecting phine to the laptop,
scrcpy file says error, no device or emulator found
what can be done next??
Please recheck two things:
1. Have you enabled usb debugging from developer options?
2. Have you allowed the on screen prompt of "allow debugging from this computer" when you connect your phone to your computer?

i have enabled usb debugging but after connection phone to usb i don't get prompt on my screen to allow debugging!!
Go to developer options and Revoke all the usb debugging authorizations(you'll fine this option just below the usb debugging toggle).
Then restart your phone and computer. Now connect your phone and computer and you should get the allow debugging prompt.
If you still don't get the prompt then go to C drive>adb folder> and just double click on the adb.exe

Try copying the downloaded zip file to any drive other than *C* and then right click and select *extract here* .

Chances are less as the M 10s has Exynos chip but you can give it a try.
Hey I just wanna say what a great job you're doing and it works, but I have a problem. Eveytime I try to start playing a movie from netflix, as soon as it rotates to landscape orientation, my phone got restarted and the srcpy shuts down. Is there a way to fix the problem? I've tried the New and Old version.
*btw I'm using Samsung S20 FE
I also have a problem with my Oppo, the movie is playing, but it still stays a black screen
I also have an S20 FE (5G variant with Qualcomm processor) and it works. Can't say about oppo because it doesn't work for most of the oppo vivo and realme models.
@@Giveupnot Mine is with the Exynos processor one, could that be the problem?
Today, I checked with Galaxy J6 and it worked. J6 has Exynos processor so the problem seems to be related to the firmware and DRM.

I cannot hear it on my PC. It is audible only on my phone.
Sorry for that, but I have already mentioned in the video that audio will come out from your phone only. So you can connect any headset or bluetooth speaker to your phone.

Have you tries with any other phone?
its not working for me...after opening scrcpy for 2nd time nothing happens...my phone screen does not share
If it worked first time then please restart your computer once and try again. Else you can force stop the adb process from task manager and try again.
to all it doesnt work anymore . Netflix stopped casting as well on this App.

Ya it is working perfectly fine. The only drawback that I have noticed so far is that you cannot fully customise the taskbar. Like widgets... dragging and dropping icons to make shortcuts on taskbar etc.

The process shown in this video currently works on Android only. But Scrcpy is available for iOS you can download the same from their Github page.

If you get black screen but still can see the subtitles only then the phone needs to be rooted which is not recommended at all. Please try with the any other phone if you have.

Try the other versions of SCRCPY, if still doesn't work then sorry, but some models of vivo oppe realme and oneplus are having this issue. If you have any other phone then please try on that one, else you'll need to root your phone which is not recommended.
