Are used to work in a heavy truck body shop back in the 90s and we used buck rivets all the time but in most cases it was where we couldn’t get the tool around so we had to use two people. One on the inside of the truck with a steel bar and one on the outside of the truck with an air hammer with the buck rivet tool in the end of it.

here is an idea for the next one: when you replace the door panel to delete the little window, delete the door handle, too. Instead install a Peterbilt 351 door handle from the 60s. Make it look old-school. for convenience you could install a door popper
The reason they're are doing this is for competition in the SHOW TRK SEASON!!!!! When judging an SHOW TRK they check everything with WHITE GLOVES & give more scoring point for ALL CUSTOMIZATION!!!!!!

But I couldn't do that to my new truck, I would rather buy a junker, and redo it, not my new one, but different likes and dislikes is what makes the world go round.
one reason to do that to a new truck could be that you could actually used it anywhere in the country for actual work. certified clean idle, e-logs the whole nine yards. with an old junker you couldn't do that.
Just curious will heat coming off the exhaust get drawn through the radiator for the hydraulic reservoir and cause an issue in the warms months? I know winters are cold 🥶 up there so it won't be an issue then. Can't wait to see the finished product, such detail !!!!
This is Awesome !!! Just curious how many gallons of oil are needed for this application of unloading fuel tanker with I'm assuming a gear pump. I have a SS 934 Thermaflow pump on my truck brand new with hydraulic fan and stock oil capacity of I think 4 gallons. My pump puts out 27 gal./ min at idle with 1" Hydraulic lines. Is this adequate for fuel unloading application? Thank You Mark

I can just imagine what this truck actual cost is after it is finally done. Because you have the actual cost of the truck then the cost of tearing it down and putting it back together again. With all the mods done to it.

Curb mirror. I use mine all the time when I’m in the paver to see how close to the edge I am. We use that mirror a lot in a dump truck

What does the body drop kit cost?
Curious how you charge the owners for the finished product . Do you subtract cost if owners help witH the build ?

I was told that mirror above is a blind spot mirror, so you can see if anybody is right beside you there. But I’m not certain.
