  • Dog Trainer Chad walks through a neighborhood to simulate what it would be like for the average dog owner. While on this walk, he demonstrates what he would be looking for from his dog in regards to obedience and behavior, as well as opportunities to expand upon training. You can incorporate what Chad is showing in this video to your own walks to continue to expand upon your dogs general obedience.

As of right now Tony we do not. But we appreciate you seeking to learn how to properly introduce it without just putting one on your dog and using it. I will talk with Chad to see what we can do about this!

Hey I had a question. My dog is 10 years old and she was never properly socialized when she was younger so she gets distracted easily and can become aggressive with people but more specifically other dogs. Since she’s been in my care over the last year I’ve been trying to train her with walking. Among other things, I’ve found holding a treat as we pass by people tends to get her focus onto me and to the point where she rarely cares about anyone around us. The progress has been slow, but meaningful. Do you think this a good way to teach an older dog or is it just putting a bandaid on the problem?
