    There is a disconnect between worlds within Jamaica.
    Some do not understand that some people are suffering silently..they do not have money and/or energy/time to come stadium like one time.
    Grandstand was full..bleachers not even sparse but practically empty.
    It is ironic a lot of the youths who “build” Jamaican track & field..come from “bleachers seat families” who i think would have loved to be able to spectate.
    Spare a thought for those who wanted to support but could not be there.
    On top of that, nuh bus naw run.
    Give thanks for those who have their own transportation..and gas..for the time being🤔

    I would like to ask what was the reason for the bending backwards to have us qualifying for 4X4 if at the last minute the main runners decided they won't run?

      These modern days athletes doesn't have much loyalty to team work, individualism rules.i would suggest to the jaaa's that those athlete who ran on that 4×400 m relay should be awarded with an increase to their stipend if its even for one occasion.

    Athletic Analytic: Merits in Minutiae Preparedness for Sprint Competitions at the Olympic Games
    ABSTRACT:
    The Jamaican triumvirate of the female-flat sprint--Shericka Jackson (10.84 seconds), Tia Clayton (10.90 seconds), and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce (10.94 secondd)--should make focal the minutiae of healthful preparedness and indulge a resolute penchant for mind-body conditioning to realize unrivaled results at the olympic games. Making focal the minutiae of healthful preparedness for the olympic games should entail: (a) for Jackson, (i) at most 4.495 calories¹ of dietary intakes of macronutrients to facilitate the metabolism (95% substrate) and aerobics (0.85 Respiratory-Exchange Rate (RER))²'³ that will be generative of requisite strength and agility; (ii) for Clayton, at most 2,922 caloric sustenance⁴ from macronutrients to support metabolism (86% Substrate), in concert with aerobics (0.60 RER),⁵'⁶ to enhance exertion-endurance and flexion-agility; (iii) for Fraser-Pryce, at most 2,150 caloric consumption⁷ of macronutrients--to be metabolized (84% Substrate) through aerobics (0.54 RER)--with the quest of resilience and optimal-flexion turnovers.⁸'⁹ (b) Implications for benefits that will be afforded from making focal healthful preparedness (weight, caloric intake, metabolism, and RER) are (i) for Jackson, scaling in time at 10.75 (± 0.12527) seconds¹⁰ at 100 meters and circa 21.68 seconds at 200 meters; (ii) for Clayton, plateauing at circa 10.76 seconds¹¹ at 100 meters and circa 21.80 seconds at 200 meters: i.e., 200 meters for strength training; (iii) for Frasier-Pryce, scaling at 10.77 (± 0.12689) seconds¹² at 100 meters and circa 21.88 seconds at 200 meters: I.e., 200 meters for strength training.
