As a Chiefs fan I appreciate the non Bias at all when discussing them. My one complaint, you talked quick about Spags but i think he deserves even more praise. His development of young guys + understanding of what their best role is, is bar none. what he brings in "big" games incredible. The unsung hero if you will for this team.

As a Chiefs fan, it was interesting to hear y'all's perspectives. I mean, when talking probabilities, the smarter money would be to always take the field against the Chiefs. But I would have said that the last two years, especially last year! The thing is-- in a single on off game, there isn't a single team id pick to beat KC. But it's not like this is easy! what they've accomplished is HARD! It's unbelievable in today's day and age. I wish we'd celebrate the greatness we're all witnessing, but instead every other fanbase wants to demonize them, or blame refs, or try to poke holes in what's happening. All I know is if the Chiefs actually do this, if they ACTUALLY 3-peat, I'll be able to die happy. If they never win another one after that, it will feel like a bit of a letdown... But that 3 peat will stand alone in history. And I'll walk the rest of my days, and then die as one happy, proud Chiefs fan.
Worthy tied the record for fastest 40 in combine history. For some reason all pronotijg of Don Beebe's record evaporated as if the league wanted to write it off. All thru the 90's it remained marketed, but something odd happened after that. Beebe ran twice which most did back then with a 4.21 & 4.25 times & still have the sports illustrated the following week highlighting his record.
the chiefs should be the favorites to win the super bowl, tbh it shouldnt be close. but man winning the SB is hard, one bad bounce. now fwiw its worth the chiefs might be the best situational football team ive ever watched, but man esp after this last run, the entropy has got to swing back a bit right? lol

The Chiefs are destined to have a 50-50 chance of 3-peating. With luck, like winning 3 consecutive playoff games by a field goal, yeah, they'll 3-peat.

Isn’t that scary when you don’t have to throw 20 plus yards down field and still win the Super Bowl it’s not how fare Pat can throw it it’s who he is throwing to remember that in the Buffalo game Pat threw 8 balls for 20 ore more yards so stop thinking he’s not all that because he is all that wrapped up .

Not saying chiefs wasn’t a good team but wasn’t they considered the luckiest team to win superbowl in nfl history in matrix of all stats not to say they didn’t overcome some things

I know right? Even Tom Brady would tell you luck had a lot to do with his success. Regardless, Tom's stats were extraordinary...same with Mahomes. Take him out and KC is no longer so lucky! Clutch decisions and leadership qualities are a difficult thing to figure into statistics.
@@terrybailey4600 6 out of 7 fumbles playoff fumbles he had nothing to with any but even 5 fumbles in three games is lucky but recovering 6 that’s nice but at the same time either worry about defense or the defense created but mahomes had 0 to due with that just glad he only got one third down each time this last year
@@jonneace54 For 50 years, I can recall countless heartbreaking last second losses. They happened for every possible reason known to football. Many wouldn't have happened except for luck...bad luck.
KC has one of the best consistant coaching situations, and other teams have yet to steal any away, teamed with a QB with one turnover the last two playoff runs as the main reason for their success, it's not luck. The past two playoffs KC has had the most unblocked QB pressures on Def and the most open catches on Off... again not luck stats, they are just the right amount of talent meshed with the right amount of top tier coaching talent, meets the right amount of true team chemistry.

Wanted to ask about Jawaan Taylor, penalties are obviously the biggest issue- I am wondering what you all thought of his play outside of the penalties. Seemed to perform really well in the playoffs. If my life depended on it, it’d be hard to bet against KC when they somehow got better this offseason specifically at WR. They are just the gold standard organization right now with a great QB, elite head coach and best big game DC. The coaching of Andy Reid & Steve Spagnuolo is what gives them an edge over other AFC teams and NFL in general, there is not another coaching staff I’d pick over Reid & Spagnuolo in a big game. If they 3 Peat for ring 4 in 7 years they go down as the most dominant team of all time cause the Patriots 6 is greater than 4 but Brady & Belichick really had 2 different dynasties 10 years apart so the teams were different. This Mahomes, Kelce, Jones, Reid & Spags Chiefs team is just ridiculous

The coaching staff and all significant contributors are locked up for the next two years. KC needs to only resign Bolton, Butker, and Humphrey (and they will) and replace Smith at G and possibly Reid at safety.

People never mention how good the Chiefs defense was WITHOUT turnovers. If that 'regresses' to the mean (which it usually does), look out.
There's a lot of things that the NFL better hope don't happen in Kansas city like Hollywood being good Xavier worthy being decent and our new tight end coming in starting to be good if anything like that happens the NFL will get broken by the Chiefs

A lot can go wrong during the season but I think the Chiefs have a good chance of 3-peat. It's not a sure thing and all it takes is one bad game in the playoffs.
True but what evidence do we have over the years besides a fluke awful 2nd half against Cincinnati in 2022 AFC Title game that the Chiefs will stumble. They are the gold standard organization today with an elite AB, elite HC & elite big game DC. There is not another coaching staff in the AFC or NFL in general I’d want in a big time game more than Andy Reid and Steve Spagnuolo currently. I mean the earliest this team has lost in the last 6 years is OT of the AFC title Game. They are as equipped to pull off the 3 Peat as any team ever will be. If KC can’t 3 Peat then I really don’t think it’ll ever happen
Mahomes may be other-worldly, but the chemistry in their leadership is their secret weapon.
Reid-Spags-Toub (maybe Nagy) with Mahomes-Kelce-Bolton-Jones-Reed will not allow any of the raw talent to sleep on the job. They will get the best out of Pacheco, Humphrey, McDuffy, Smith, Rice, Pennell, Karlaftis... when it matters most.
Nobody settles for their floor when the leadership themselves are demonstrating how bad they want it.
