Honestly, I see the tigress plush seeing a cost nerf, shroomscavate going to 4 mana and maybe making Muscle o tron give 0/1 and then forged 1/2 instead of 1/1 and 2/2. Or maybe Painted Virtue loses its lifesteal or a durability. Honestly, I find the paladin deck really scary rn because it eats aggro alive due to excessive life steal, it beats midrange at its own game and then can usually kill odyn warrior even in one turn

Any you play you can regenerate by forging again, it lowers the odds of Ragnaros hitting face, which with some additional burst was the only realistic out, it gives more reach against some giant wall of taunts (though I don't know what actually could have happened that would have been an issue). I think you could fill the board completely, since there is something to run a giant into to remove it, even if Ragnaros goes face. Keeping a slot open for Zarimi just to be sure is also understandable, but that is just an argument for the last giant.

I managed to climb to top 3000 legend this season using a deck very similar to this but using automatons. It is pretty consistent with the crimson clergy package and it requires a lot less setup, plus gives you the paladin effect where if you’re opponent can’t quite clear just one automaton for some reason you sometimes just win the game on the spot. ~%70 winrate over a few dozen games, paladin is the hard matchup. Everything else crumples.
I hope this deck becomes a problem in standard so it maybe with the re-analysis of the mechanic of turn skipping It could further incentivize blizzard to implement the "Once per game" tag or some other nerf to time warp. It's an obnoxious mechanic that unlike things like freezing or other disruption effects doesn't have the ability to be mitigated/played around. As opposed to the solitaire your opponent ends up playing with an abundance of access to fulfilling the pre-requisite.

@@soulfate921 The taunt shouldn't matter since you want to drop the giants right before your OTK turn anyway. But I guess they might come down earlier than Playhouse if you didn't draw that much yet.
Im watching the video being like “oh nice, i opened zorimi, am gonna play this deck but i will play some normal giants, not these goofy forge endlessly strom giants and goofy melted makers” but then chump went to game five
And this deck is already so weird, the deckbuilding, the utility cards, the weird combo pieces, it reminds me of the days i dabbled in mtg modern, and the decks were always so fucking weird
Just lost against this BS deck at like turn 8. Zarimi has no counterplay and the combo pieces aren't even bad cards on their own. HS really gets worse with every expansion. "Skip your opponents turn" used to be a Mage quest which was a lot harder to fulfill and didn't come with a free 4/6.
Neither is getting lethal before turn like 8 at least (so speed is irrelevant) and the storm giant is more flexible especially if you can copy it to play around rat.
Ah yes because surely we should give the class with multiple copying effects the ability to skip multiple turns in a row..... You DO realize creation protocol and synchronize are both in standard right? Thank god you aren't on the blizzard team with that stupid idea.

What's the benefit of running a giants combo (which is pretty clunky, let's be honest) compared to running Zarimi in a regular tempo list?

The dragon variant is far worse then the regular aggro shadow priest Deck. This deck wants to kill you turn 4, even before you could play zarimi
