Hi mate. Middle of September is great for Mahi Mahi, so a rod around 2.75m 10-45gr and some minnows and top water lures along with a 3000H reel would be ideal. Thank you for your precious support 🙏

I wanted to ask for a suggestion: I'm going to a Greek island this summer and I know there will be a beach where the water goes down to 30 meters within 10 meters from the shore. What kind of lures should I use? Do you have any suggestions?
I would suggest jigs mostly. Needle Jig, slim jig minnow and Sardine slider, all work perfectly!
A Cast Hacker could be a good addition also.

Να ρωτήσω από την στιγμή που γίνει το strike και πιαστει το ψάρι πόσο ακόμη πρέπει να σφίξω τα φρένα στο σημείο όπου δεν μπορεί να πάρει εύκολα ή να του αφήσω περιθώριο να μπορεί να πάρει ??
Φίλε μου κανονικά τα φρένα πρέπει να είναι προρυθμισμένα σωστά, και να μην κάνεις τίποτα κατά την μάχη. Στην συγκεκριμένη περίπτωση στις φυκιάδες, δεν έχεις θέμα αν έχεις λίγο πιο λυτά τα φρένα, ωστόσο θα πρότεινα τουλάχιστον 4 κιλά προρύθμιση με γεμάτη μπομπίνα...
