Yeah it helps that Granblue source material makes this natural. Granblue is wacky as hell especially the summer events. I’m expecting a fish related level soon.
Grand Bruise is great to have in this game, especially for the free-to-play players, so they have more reasons to come back and play this game. If they continue to add some more gamemodes and maps, this honestly could be a good game mode for the free-to-play players (even those who bought it) interested to come back and play the game and even try the actual fighting game part too. (I know they have other maps planned for launch, but hopefully they add more over time during it's lifecycle)

This. I remember the mode in MK9 where the effects influenced how you play. Like inversing controls, raining bombs and shit. It was crazy fun playing with friends. Barely anyone doing staff like this nowadays.

You need to have all jutenshu to be 6*. to LB them to 7* you need shit-bricks instead of gold bricks, you just need a billion gold bricks to make one... and you need 50 of them per character. My beef with fighting games in recent years is there's not a lot to do besides a story mode online and maybe arcade with maybe endings, yeah you still need online but it gives you something to do and it's fun

Hope they continue to ad to it, maybe even tighten up the controls as well. Could be a genuine time sink if it's well put together, I'd kill for some dumb shit like this in other games with Ryu having to Tatsu his way through a 500m dash or something
I wouldn’t be surprised if Tekken or Streetfighter do something like this in future. That would bring in so many casuals for such hard games as those two.

SF6 could make some unique modes with avatars other than fighting. Would be amazing. Imagine if they made a rumbleverse or power stone type mode with all the avatars 😂
Capcom should really consider giving us more goofy stuff to do with our avatar characters. Hell, I can even sell it to the ghouls at the marketing department: You want people to buy cosmetics for their custom avatars? Give them places to use it outside of just avatar battles! Hell, we've already got world tour parkour stuff in the game, just put like 10-15 people on a parkour course and have us spinning bird kick to the finish line or something.
You know I'm not interested in Granblue in general so this game didn't interest me overall, but they seem to be making it with enough care that I'm at least a little curious.
While i am appreciative of them putting funky stuff like this...the only Granblue game I'm gonna spend time with is Relink which is solely designed for single player. I am done with Granblue Fantasy Versus and glad that i took part in the beta to know it's still not the game for me😅

- Intensive Beat Em Up Co-op story mode (with DPS checks, knowledge checks etc)
