How Does the New App Option Work?
Currently, the Tajir Dost option in the Tax Asaan app doesn't require immediate registration. Instead, it serves as an informational hub for the scheme. Here's what you can expect:
App Update: Ensure you have the latest version of the Tax Asaan app installed.
Tajir Dost Option: Look for the "Tajir Dost" option within the app.
Information Gathering: When you select this option, you might be asked to provide basic information like your ID card number and mobile network. This information may be used by the FBR to contact you later.
Registration Process:
Registration process will start from 1st April and initial deadline announced for voluntary registration is 30th April.
Who Should Be Aware?
While registration isn't open yet, the Tajir Dost Scheme is relevant for:
Small retailers (grocery stores, clothing shops, etc.)
Wholesalers
Service providers (mechanics, salons, etc.)
