Okay how? Just how??? Who looks at a cheap wire tray and goes “Gee this could be a chandelier “??! I wish I had just 1% of your brilliant creativity 🌟🌟🌟
Drew, you are a genius. Loved the picture frame idea and could not believe you did that paper mache project in your beautiful living room! LOL, but you did achieve the dupe of the more expensive lamp. Guess I can't argue with success!
The way you connected the wire baskets with the dowels was very clever! Many ideas came to my brain on that one! Thank you! AND, thank you for the paper mâché recipe!
HIi Drew, you could also sand the outside part with sand paper to give you that smooth texture like the inside part. love the video and greetings from South Korea🥰
This was such a fun video. The commentary on the paper mache was hilarious. I would love to see an entire video on paper mache. Seems like you could do a lot of different things with it and it’s such a cheap and widely available material!
The wire rack lamp could be cool in a kitchen. You can hang kitchen utensils from it, like spatulas, ladels, etc. That way it serves an extra purpose and it's an ever changing design, as you'll never put the utensils back exactly the same. During Christmas time you can hang decorations on it or Christmas cards you receive from friends and family. Many fun options really!
I'm still recovering from the paper mache lamp - your reaction during the creative process- was hysterical! You are scary in the way you see the future of innate textures (in a good way). lol More, please!
Love the texture on the mushroom lamp. I’m going to try out the metal tray lamp because I love the shape and then attempt to wrap it in fabric since I’m not into modern. Really fabulous DIYs that inspire me. I get tired of seeing the same old thing all the time in crafting videos and you always come through with new ideas.
The wire baskets that you painted red that was my favourite project. I absolutely loved that and I’m sure with other peoples creativity,They can use your starting point and add in their own style and colors. So very creative. 😁🙌🏻🙌🏻
You are so creative. Def the frame and the light fixture the dowels with the corner pcs come on now! I love all your posts! Thank you for your passion and sharing with us🥰
Thank you Drew. I have learned how to make a really good recipe for paper mache! I also like the planter or vase that you painted with the pretty edge on top. I really love that idea :))
Omg Drew! I love the paper mache lamp! I like the texture but maybe you could lightly sand? I love the hanging fixture and you have inspired me to do one in my wall in closet. I intend to lightly stain the dowels and spray the wire baskets an antique brass!
Loved the video. The lamp was my favorite of the projects. I agree with you that it would look nicer if done on the inside of the forms you used. I was enjoying the texture as you were making it but once it was finished I realized the smoother look would have a nicer look to it. Very innovative, thank you.
I have been watching 2 or 3 videos of yours every night. This is the first diy I have seen! Loved it. Papermache and hanging lamps were my favorites. Gonna scroll your videos for any more diy's. Would love to see you do more. By the way, you are a HOOT!!
I love these!!! I feel like the hanging tray-shade at the end would actually make a really amazing coffee table or side table base if you laid a round piece of wood on top
This is a true tutorial. I’ve been crafting forever i am 70. I started at my grandmas knee. I watched this video and learned three things I didn’t know. 1.Mini meter saw 2.Paper machete using cardboard( i love paper machete) i use newspaper and it’s messier than cardboard sooo 3.Attaching wire baskets at seams with dowels (genius). That lamp can be embellished to be any kind of hanging light or chandelier with bling and more bling. I really like that hanging light. Dude you are the king for today in crafting. The negative comments are just haters doing what haters do. Your work is very smart thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ i will be subscribing
I am in my 77th year of designing and redesigning -- and I still learn things from Lone Fox -- and it's always so much fun to get caught up in his excitement. Love you, Lone Fox from another grandma.
I was just thinking, we used ro make paper mache with newspaper when I was in school. It is a bit messy, but so is this whole blending up cardboard. I would say it's easier to do with newspaper!
100% adorable! I will definitely try the paper mache idea. Your narration as you made the slurry of everything for the lamp was just hilarious. All great looking projects.
