Oh yes Olive Thomas was a very talented silent movie star. Her association with Jack Pickford also brings my mind to thoughts of Mary Pickford, who is also one of my favorite female silent movie stars!
This was fascinating and I enjoyed the video except for two tiny things. The music is a little too loud for the narration and the background sounds are distracting but really, otherwise, I really liked the video! I’ve honestly never heard of Olive Thomas! Her story was heartbreaking regardless of what happened! Just such a SAD story!
She was so impetuous and wild by accounts I'd often wondered if she made a suicide 'attempt' intending to take the sleeping potion knowing Jack would quickly get her treated and easily recover, and only in the last moments realized she'd taken the wrong medicine.
I am currently doing a cross stitch of her and wish I should share it. But it’s a stitch of the paint of her with the flower. Be I already have the spot I’m hanging her and a framer to protect the fabric.

She was my great grandmothers Niece I think. My great grand mother use to have a photo hung of her on her wall.
