When his world updated from Beta 1.8.1 to release 1.0, it completely screwed up the biomes because the terrain generation was changed. What was previously a desert/ocean biome apparently became a snow biome.

Netherrack burns indefinitely when set on fire. Glowstone dust can be put into a 4x4 grid to make glowstone, which produces light in its own cool way. And soul sand is like quicksand. Also: Use shift+click to put items away, please. It saves time.
ghasts explode in the nether and nether rack is useful because when you light it it will never goes go out unless you hit it, so you can make a fire moad around your house to keep monsters away. you can get blaze rods for brewery stand from those blaze things from the nether castle.
I can tell you what netherrack is for, It's only use is that it can burn forever. If you make a square of glowstone within a grafting table, you get a glowstone block which provides awesome light and can be placed underwater.
i totally face palmed when he needed to make an iron helmet and said i need to mine some iron and in the bottom left corner there was a stack of 24 iron ingots XD toby you make me laugh
hey, toby, those gold ingot monsters drop "blaze rods", which you can use to make a potion stand like this: *blaze rod* *cobble* *cobble *cobble also, those nether castles have "nether wart" in them, which you can make "awkward potions" then, put the ghast tear in the awkward potion, to make a regeneration potion, which obviously regenerates your health
you can make it so doors auto open for you, just make a touch pad (2 wood planks or solid stone in the bottom) and creepers and shit dont go in it cus they dont like light, just surround your doors with torches MUCH EASIER

Toby - You can turn flowers (rose , dandelion) to dyes (Rose RED , dandelion YELLOW) and with dyes , you can either turn wool into that color , or you can use dyes on sheep to turn their wool in that color and then harvest it (or leave it). If you want Toby to see this ... you know what to do ;)
