    I made that drive on a motor scooter. Twice I was passed by a car in the same lane as me, and I was doing around 110 kph. Lived in Hillcrest for 3 months.

    Thanks for that. Traveled that for many years. The rain made it more authentic. I see Hillcrest is no longer the sleepy village it once was.

      I seem to recall Hillcrest only got it's first traffic lights in the 90s. Now you can't drive 300 meters without having to stop at one.

      @@chrisbloom382 I only recall one on the intersection of Hospital road and the road going to Waterfall. But may have been a 4 way stop. I left in the late 80’s. One day I’ll visit it again. Thanks again.

      IIRC it was very early morning on a Sunday. I'd been taking photos on the beachfront
