Sure is different, went to the website and you can have your own for $219. When you think travel guitar, or bass, my thought isn't really on the width of the body, it's on this four foot log and where to put it when traveling. You could sling it over your shoulder and walk around like what's his name, Kieth Carradine in Kung Foo. Best rig I've seen lately is the travel guitar that the neck separates from the body with one big screw and you just loosen the strings, unscrew the neck and lay it on top of the body. It fits in its own case a bit smaller than a backpack.

I bet getting bass strings started in those tuners will be fun. I've seen them on eBay and the like. Your vid is the closest I've come to actually seeing one. He should have gotten one of the old Steinberger copies imho.

I'm a bass player and have never seen one before. I too have back issues but I wouldn't dream of purchasing something like that. Doesn't look reliable or even strong enough to me. I'll pass. Lol
