This my understanding of the song : Will just wants to make music but people either criticise him for it , Force opinions like "this song is better" or people constantly requesting songs that Will just cant make . All that = stress . Stress = The heart of an artist . He also says "treat them as they will treat you" . Some people are asses and treat him like shit . But , hey . That's just my understanding !
Now that the remake of this song has been released, I can safely say this might be the best original song you’ve made. It perfectly incapsulates everything about the trials and tribulations of being an artist of any form, whether that be a painter, a singer, a writer, a content creator, etc., while also giving some hella good life advice. The message of the song is clear as glass and to say it’s uplifting is an understatement.

I completely understand the meaning of this song (I think). It's about an artist that get's demanded to make songs that he didn't really want to do. The artist makes a song either by request, or just a song he wanted to do (I don't know which one) and he gets hate from the song he made. Then the artist realizes he doesn't need them. "You place the cards on the desk but they rip it up in your face", great analogy (or metaphors. I don't know which one). This quote describes what I said above about creating music and people hating it. "They take you like a remote and control your fate", another great analogy (or metaphors. I still don't know which one). This also goes with people demanding what music you make. Is this song reflected partly an you, or an artist in general? Sorry for breaking down parts of the song. I always love to break a song down to get the meaning of it. I love this song just because of the meaning it stands for.
I think it's slightly autobiographical, because there have been so many people demanding more fnaf songs despite him having made so many good ones already and wanting to be able to move on. Obviously not just fnaf, but it was the main one for a while, and I think it was beginning to annoy him.

Since anyone who creates something like a song, art work, cartoon, a TH-camr in general, will get demanded to do things they aren't exactly willing to do, but are threatened that that demanding person will leave or unsubscribe if they don't get what they want.

I know I’m 6 years late and probably commented when I was younger, but I need to say this. I’ve listened to this song since I was young and since then, I’ve been through so much with teenage drug abuse and even getting abused by two ex’s from 16-18 and having to learn the hard way in my young life. And now that I’m aware of life lessons, i know what this song means to you, Will. Im not saying you did anything I did, im saying that I understand your feelings coming through this song. I use this song to help remind me that I should never lower myself to help ungrateful people who are only there for me when it benefits them, and that I should never stop putting my art out there because that’s what helps me and also helps others, if some people don’t like it then that’s their problem, not mine. I don’t have to please everyone, I just keep on doing what makes me happy and what helps me grow further as an individual, making sure I do what I have to do for myself is my maiden priority, not others. Basically, this song and some other songs of yours helped me. I rediscovered your music by listening to my old music and it brought back nostalgic memories from my childhood and it shows me how far I have come. 7 years ago today as of me writing this. It's been a momentous journey. I think I speak for many when I say IRIS has been such a big part in shaping and guiding me. Will has been the most inspiring and courageous person I've ever seen. And now the Resurrection is finally here. We are ready to descend again.
Honestly, this song gave me the feeling of independence, autonomy, dignity. This song express the more acybering (rage, inteligence, dignity, autonomy) of a person, counting that sure each people that feel this was pressure in the past. This is an art master piece that demostre the human sentimental capacity.
This song really speaks to me since I'm an artist myself. I've always had fear of showing my art and passion to many due to them putting me down. I even got told to do a different career as a lawyer, doctor, etc. But I knew what I wanted, my passion and my dreams. I love to draw my heart out, I want to draw and make cartoons later in the future. Right now I'm in college trying my hardest to graduate and transfer to university for my Multi artist major/ bachelor's degree to start what I began. As a writer, I feel pressured to write a story that makes others feel happy instead of writing what makes me happy. It doesn’t help that I was severely bullied in my childhood and I grew up thinking there was something wrong with me. This song has brought me to tears because it has made me see how I’ve always wanted to be. This song got me through an extremely tough time when I was questioning committing suicide. And it saved me. Having the heart of an artist and the mind of a writer has never made me any happier or any prouder. And for that, Will, I can never ever thank you enough.

Will, of all the songs you have ever made, this one speaks to me the most. I am a Drag performer and, in most places, Kings are the dirt beneath Queens feet. I was lucky as my area offers places for kings to perform. I started November 28th, 2018. I have seen both kings and queens hurt because it doesn't match to people's standards of them. Some have even cancelled Pride shows because of these expectations and more. I am going to be performing to this song on Sunday. Bought it just for it since I listen to it on repeat via TH-cam. I want to thank you for the song because, even though I know the meaning, I am happy it is so vague as it could be any artist. Dude, thank you for this song. You're an amazing creator and you inspire me within my media to keep creating. To be a creator has so many meanings for every person that believes themselves to be one. It's a difficult balance to strike. On one hand we want people to like us, we want validation that we are good in what we do, but at the same time we want to live and create for our own sake, for our own happiness. In the end, validation from others cannot compare to your personal validation of yourself. If you believe yourself to be an artist, no one can tell you that you are wrong, art is subjective. It claims it has rules, but all of those rules are open to interpretation, and "breaking" them can lead to finding something better, or something ugly. Art is experimental, art is expression and communication. I once had an artist of another media tell me, and I quote, "I don't consider you an artist," after I had been creating content for him for two years. I have been broken down before, but that was the worst someone has ever hurt me as an artist, and that person still doesn't understand why what they said was hurtful, nor do I believe that they care. People have told me my content isn't great, or that it has flaws. Sometimes they tell me what they think should be fixed, why, and even offer advice as to how to go about it, or a link to a tutorial. Those people I appreciate, they have good intentions and sometimes I'll benefit from the experience. But there are people who are not like that who have called my art garbage, some of which are sadly professors that have no intention of trying to help their students, they're just there for their paycheck. There was one who asked me why I was crying, thought there was something wrong with me, after he erased my entire board three quarters of the way through a figure drawing class. Another one had me do at least a hundred edits so that my work no longer looked like it was mine, and if it wasn't "swiss enough" he would hurt my grade, adding in "requirements" that he never once listed in the instructions or verbally spoke of. And the most recent, oh he's a bad one, an international artist from Spain who picked his favorites and gave the rest of us barely passing grades, never helped us, all I learned from his class was from his TA, who actually gave a damn about us. It's okay to suggest that I try something new if you genuinely think it will benefit my work, but to tell me that I am wrong is wrong in and of itself. There is no "wrong" in art, that's part of why people want it, interpretation and feeling is something no one can take away from you. There's "deviating from the standard, accepted practice," but that is not wrong, that is deviation and experimentation.

Now that the remake of this song has been released, I can safely say this might be the best original song you’ve made. It perfectly incapsulates everything about the trials and tribulations of being an artist of any form, whether that be a painter, a singer, a writer, a content creator, etc., while also giving some hella good life advice.

The artist makes a song either by request, or just a song he wanted to do (I don't know which one) and he gets hate from the song he made. Then the artist realizes he doesn't need them.

I’ve listened to this song since I was young and since then, I’ve been through so much with teenage drug abuse and even getting abused by two ex’s from 16-18 and having to learn the hard way in my young life. And now that I’m aware of life lessons, i know what this song means to you, Will. Im not saying you did anything I did, im saying that I understand your feelings coming through this song. I use this song to help remind me that I should never lower myself to help ungrateful people who are only there for me when it benefits them, and that I should never stop putting my art out there because that’s what helps me and also helps others, if some people don’t like it then that’s their problem, not mine. I don’t have to please everyone, I just keep on doing what makes me happy and what helps me grow further as an individual, making sure I do what I have to do for myself is my maiden priority, not others. 7 years ago today as of me writing this. It's been a momentous journey. I think I speak for many when I say IRIS has been such a big part in shaping and guiding me. Will has been the most inspiring and courageous person I've ever seen. And now the Resurrection is finally here. We are ready to descend again.
Honestly, this song gave me the feeling of independence, autonomy, dignity. This song express the more acybering (rage, inteligence, dignity, autonomy) of a person, counting that sure each people that feel this was pressure in the past.
This is an art master piece that demostre the human sentimental capacity.
This song really speaks to me since I'm an artist myself. I've always had fear of showing my art and passion to many due to them putting me down. I even got told to do a different career as a lawyer, doctor, etc.
But I knew what I wanted, my passion and my dreams. I love to draw my heart out, I want to draw and make cartoons later in the future. Right now I'm in college trying my hardest to graduate and transfer to university for my Multi artist major/ bachelor's degree to start what I began. It doesn’t help that I was severely bullied in my childhood and I grew up thinking there was something wrong with me. This song has brought me to tears because it has made me see how I’ve always wanted to be. This song got me through an extremely tough time when I was questioning committing suicide. And it saved me. Having the heart of an artist and the mind of a writer has never made me any happier or any prouder. And for that, Will, I can never ever thank you enough.

Will, of all the songs you have ever made, this one speaks to me the most. I am a Drag performer and, in most places, Kings are the dirt beneath Queens feet. I was lucky as my area offers places for kings to perform. I started November 28th, 2018. I have seen both kings and queens hurt because it doesn't match to people's standards of them. Some have even cancelled Pride shows because of these expectations and more. I am going to be performing to this song on Sunday. Bought it just for it since I listen to it on repeat via TH-cam. I want to thank you for the song because, even though I know the meaning, I am happy it is so vague as it could be any artist. And I will be showing my art and kinda using it to help cheer up a friend who had gotten hurt by the system.

To be a creator has so many meanings for every person that believes themselves to be one. It's a difficult balance to strike. On one hand we want people to like us, we want validation that we are good in what we do, but at the same time we want to live and create for our own sake, for our own happiness. In the end, validation from others cannot compare to your personal validation of yourself. If you believe yourself to be an artist, no one can tell you that you are wrong, art is subjective. It claims it has rules, but all of those rules are open to interpretation, and "breaking" them can lead to finding something better, or something ugly. Art is experimental, art is expression and communication.
I once had an artist of another media tell me, and I quote, "I don't consider you an artist," after I had been creating content for him for two years. I have been broken down before, but that was the worst someone has ever hurt me as an artist, and that person still doesn't understand why what they said was hurtful, nor do I believe that they care. People have told me my content isn't great, or that it has flaws. Sometimes they tell me what they think should be fixed, why, and even offer advice as to how to go about it, or a link to a tutorial. Those people I appreciate, they have good intentions and sometimes I'll benefit from the experience. But there are people who are not like that who have called my art garbage, some of which are sadly professors that have no intention of trying to help their students, they're just there for their paycheck. There was one who asked me why I was crying, thought there was something wrong with me, after he erased my entire board three quarters of the way through a figure drawing class. Another one had me do at least a hundred edits so that my work no longer looked like it was mine, and if it wasn't "swiss enough" he would hurt my grade, adding in "requirements" that he never once listed in the instructions or verbally spoke of. And the most recent, oh he's a bad one, an international artist from Spain who picked his favorites and gave the rest of us barely passing grades, never helped us, all I learned from his class was from his TA, who actually gave a damn about us.
It's okay to suggest that I try something new if you genuinely think it will benefit my work, but to tell me that I am wrong is wrong in and of itself. There is no "wrong" in art, that's part of why people want it, interpretation and feeling is something no one can take away from you. There's "deviating from the standard, accepted practice," but that is not wrong, that is deviation and experimentation.

Whenever you are a creator of anything, you will have masses of people who only want you to do a certain type, not caring if you don't want too as well. If this creator starts finally ignoring their demands, they will despise that creator and everything else he does no matter how beautiful it is. This song is pretty much about Will and the FNaF squeakers, as he took the role as creator, and they were the hateful masses, but this song also applies to everyone on Earth who creates anything because they will go through the same thing. This song was about the artist/creator complying to the masses' demands, then feeling like garbage when the hate from them starts. For example, FNaF squeakers unsubscribing because Will stopped FNaF songs, and leaving hateful comments and dislikes and every other song he makes. The chorus then covers the artist reaching the point when he spits in the eyes of the masses and takes his life back to where they don't control him, and their threats don't matter, the artist is just creating what is beautiful in his eyes and not theirs.
