I'm A2 level and this was a slight challenge for me. Yeah...definitely not for absolute beginner. The content itself is "beginner" level and the speed at which they speak is "intermediate" level I would say. Absolute beginner would be SLOW and they would be like "Ciao, come ti chiami?" "Mi chiamo Mario" " Piaccere Mario. Quanti anni hai?" "Ho venticinque anni". How old is Mario?
I found the speed they speak at difficult at the beginning. I've only been watching for 10 minutes and have gradually acclimatised. I'm understanding it better now. Maybe due to having done this over 14 years ago in similar languages. I get the Italian writing straight away. Don't need the English. Whatever your current level, you will succeed and improve over time. Best of luck in your A Level exams.

I'm at advanced A1 and this was hard for me. We haven't done conditional or processive tenses. That being said, I think it will be helpful to practice with this, especially for the rhythm of the language.
I agree with other comments that this video isn't for an absolute beginner. Maybe upper beginner. It suits my current level just fine. Thanks for uploading material which is the right level for me. I started with Italian last November. I learned basic words and sentences. Then I looked at all the regular verbs and all their conjugations. Wasn't very difficult as I've done it in Spanish many years ago.
I have only barely studied Italian, but I speak Spanish and French and I was able to understand all of the conversations. I know these aren’t difficult conversations, but that’s a big boost to my thoughts about my proficiency.
This is great, but probably not for absolute beginners. I want to find more just like this. It's really helping now that I understand a lot of the rules about verbs and also some vocabulary. Thank you!

It will give you all the basics + grammar + vocab to start this listening.. (best of all, its dirt cheap compared to Rosetta/Pimlseur and other bs out there..
@@zoemadehome I've learned French and Spanish for over 14 years. That's the only reason I'd be absolutely fine if the English writing was removed and only the Italian stayed. I can make it all out. If I was learning something totally different like Russian, Arabic, Chinese then different story.
