I liked about how you don't need to over analyze running into a cooler situation. I did have one question for strategy which I don't think I have ever seen you try: making a small bet out of position on the river to try and induce a raise. pros and cons?
Wolfgang's coach ran the numbers with him and showed that betting big is always better than betting small, even if they under call a big bet and over call a small bet. The other thing he mentioned was in that situation if you had a bluff you'd probably bet big and not small. So if you wanna stay unpredictable you have to use the same sizes for your bluffs and value hands.
Thank you, Lex! So much advice in this Video - how to Bet in certain Spots (K5 Hand) / to avoid pushing the Oppo's dominated Hands Out (K8 just Check in the BB) / being aware of the Positions (3-Bet A2 from BB) + (isolate w/ KQoff in EP/MP). Love to See more!!
Excellent tips as always. I like the final one on KQ as I tend to just call in early position and get pushed off the hand when their is a raise behind. Would love to see a video on playing premium hands out of position when you either (a) miss the flop, (b) there is an overcard behind e.g. raise with AK get called and the board comes Q, 7, 2 rainbow; or riase with JJ get called and the flop comes K,10,9
I think its good to have a play where you think about what you doing in general and where you dont have weaknesses, to feel good in spot where you are what you doing in long run, when you start feeling akward in hand, than you not doing right things
For the king 5 off hand, would you ever go for a pot sized or over-bet there? And if you were suited on the last hand would it be a call? Great video as always
If i play on phone, i always scrsht the hands im involved, street by street, whether i lose or win. Then next day i go through them. Its very effective for learning, and i recommend it.
What is the logical reason behind the check back at 9:10? Personally I would bet to try to get some extra value when you almost certainly know he doesn't have a flush or a set the way he played his hand.
Hi Lex! Enjoy all of your content: Quick question to the Hand at 9:00 at the river. Yes the frontflush completed - but when villain checks - can't we just valuebet thin with JJ on that board? I mainly play mostly cashgame - and i would valuebet the JJ on the river still - so what is your thoughts on checking behind OTR?
I told you on the other video it would help me crush these stakes after winning the BB $2.20. I shipped the hot $3.30 couple days ago also. Love the vids but half the thought processes I know already through experience but I'm not sure about all this info give away. Your gonna make the games harder lol
I love the way you stress every important point that you're trying to make, so that pepegs like myself understand and remember them. Quite the insightful video! Thank you
25% bets in position are a massive mistake. The gain from it is not worth opening up the betting action with again. Also we're never betting that size with our true value. River is 50% minimum bet. I think our opponent will check 3x with some hands like KQo QJ QT and have the occasional flush. Becuase the river is a diamond other hands (like 88) will be less happy to pay off also
The last ones I don't finish because I set aside 2 hours to record this. Enough lessons in there. If you want to see how to close tournaments or win them I also have highlights that show you wins
Which tip was your favourite/most helpful from the video? Drop it down here 👇
Thinkinbg logical
78o lead from BB on 523 rainbow board.
I think check raise leads us in a dicy spot.

Where we can find program Yazoo? 1:33
Man, everything you said about playing on BB! 67o, K5o - extremely interesting! i play BB in -35bb))
The tip at 7:50 was something i've never considered. I've been more focused on winning the hand than actually getting paid 😅
So so so important

Appreciate that!
Yo Lex, would love to see your pre/post bet sliders and sizings you use for tourneys.
Preflop 2.05, 2.2 and 3.2 x the big blind. Postflop 18, 33, 66, 85% of pot
Thanks for this video Lex, very informative.
Some fantastic advice in this one.
Thank you, Lex!

And this is how you teach poker. Thanks Lex
Outstanding information!!
very nice content, a lot of good stuff!❤
I would fold the 73o hand from BB vs. BU open 50bb deep.
74o and 53o I would defend.
Cant wait to try some of these 3bet moves in game
Thanks, mate
Thanks for the lesson. I personally learned a lot.
Def my favourite poker streamer.
I'm struggling not knowing what they had in the last hand! I know poker should not be results driven but wanted to see if AQ was a good fold.

Nothing on the hand Lex! This was another good video m8!
tyty
I really like the content. Good job
Betting big on the river with the FH instead of betting small to get paid, helped me the most

9:21 Een van Gaaltje 😉
The tip regarding 3 betting with KQo in early position was an eye opener. Never really considered this before.
Nice Jim! Make sure to flat with KQss as it's much more durable to raises and calls behind you
So with what Aces raice pre flop depends on your positipn in table

I do think it's important diamonds complete. I think some shitty queens will check 3x now
Awesome content as always ✌️💯👏👏👏
Thank you 🙌
@8:15 this Man Soul Read the Situation and said Nahh man
Ty!

wow I wouldn't have thought AQo is a fold on the button in that situati0n. holy smokes.
If they have KQ on a drawyboard, they prob re-raise preflop?
I just realized you are a DBZ fan. Kudos!
Final Atonement best episode. Gohan SSJ2 best moment!
I love the way you stress every important point that you're trying to make, so that pepegs like myself understand and remember them. Quite the insightful video! Thank you
Isn't 9:08 is a slam dunk value bet? Would be surprised if he snap checks twice and has a Q or flush. I'm putting a little 1/4 pot milker out there.

My man is calling with 73 off and folding AQ preflop
Poker has really changed thats for sure
Don't bluff with good hands and bet big for value
Such amazing content. You are a really great guy. I was wrong to think you re annoying sometimes I am sorry
I love this format, but I noticed you don´t finish the tournament, always start a new one.

Would love to have seen what the others players had in the last hand! 😢
👍👍👍👍
Nothing on the hand😂
