This was a short intro video I filmed because I wanted to capture my big bag before I finally recycled it. Not my best work, I kept getting tongue-tied, hence all the cut! Something is better than nothing. Will create a better, longer Vlog for you all next week 🙂
Good on you Meghana! 😁 It's still a bit of a hit and miss for me. Didn't manage to go zero waste for long but less is still more. Crazy how much plastic is in the world eh!? I read a sign at the supermarket about them stopping with plastic bags... they already did that years ago, so hopefully they mean no more plastic on produce 🤞
in germany, waste separation is mandatory. it can happen that trash bins are being randomly controlled, and won't be emptied if they contain the "wrong" garbage. with this, we recycle a package in the size of yours in a week or so. we recycle glass, paper, plastic, organic waste, and everything else that's left, in separate trash bins. ppl have been getting used to it by now, so it's not a big deal. also, plastic bags are banned in supermarkets and grocery stores, and much more is either without wrapping, or replaced with cardboard. i still see many products packed in foil though.
