Generally speaking the Fortnite Storyline doesn't really include/ reference Crossover stuff in it (Marvel and Optimus Prime being exceptions but even then nothing lore related teased Optimus Prime prior to his arrival). So it wouldn't quite make much sense for The Wanderer to be a Fallout Character.
But next season is already to be a confirmed fallout collab so not that much of a stretch

I am not even kidding when i tell you that i have never wanted a series to come back this much. I do understand that you may nit want to do it or there are not enough changes but you could put it in yt shorts format or every 2 or 3 weeks
that's the problem, there's barely anything to talk about. that's why they don't make weekly update videos anymore, not even enough for a short.
That’s because epic barely changes the map throughout a season. Ever since Donald mustard left, Fortnite lost its charm

One detail I do like about the event was that seemingly the dust storm was created by the lightning from the box destroying one of the desert outer islands. Zeus casually destroyed an entire island just to get back at ours
I don't think the Desert Outer Islands got destroyed, they're still there. You can definitely see them during the times the Sandstorm glitches and doesn't show up. But I guess we'll know for sure once the season arrives and the Sandstorm (presumably) goes away.

The "Wanderer" is probally just a reference to "The Lone Wanderer," the protagonist of Fallout 3 since Fallout is coming to Fortnite as seen in the trailer and title card.

The Cerberus quests were the most important this season. Simply because ball.
My theory on Fortnite storyline. Epic picks a them for a season. They make a map. They make some overpowered mythics and some meh regualr guns. Epic programs and schedules crossovers and skin releases. They then program a handful of "cool" things, in game events, that sort of thing. Finally, the log in to chatgpt and ask it to write a storyline that ties it all together. This would explain everything. How the season theme is sort of, kind of, followed but not really. The really odd, find a dog toy questlines, how some of the plot points just end, how there are random plot points that come out of nowhere. The whole thing reeks of AI.
So glad you posted this, the storyline quests have been so long to wait for so I didn’t bother to do half of them 😭

This new storyline feels more like "things just happening" instead of there being some kind of plan from chapters 1-4ish
It's the same as always then, stuff happening each season which leads to the next thing which leads to the next and so on. It's still connected, it's just that each point seems very odd and random when you don't look at the threads. I mean, how would going from a Primal Season to an Alien Invasion one seem logical to anyone without knowing the storyline that happened during it?
