One of my favorite songs, I fell in love with it as a kid...but since - back in the blessed days of young innocence - I had no idea who wrote it and what's the title, me and my little brother called it "Shom-Shom" :)

Colburn and Stiger both deserve awards for the great performances. They are Dynamic, doing so much just by their eye acting. Also best movie and score by the late great Innio. Sean Sean is so beautiful!

This is an outstandingly beautiful picture. It's one of the greatest films ever made and one of my all time favorites as well as Leone's best film. It's really ashame NOBODY ever talks about this film. You never hear about it in any circle. Even in film buff circles. It's really a damn shame. But those who do know, know.

IDK but is certainly up there with The Good Bad N Ugly which lots of critics have it at no.1. The movie is so beautifully tragic. The scene in the cave when Coeburn scans the dead and at last sees the youngest, whom he had grown to love. Just that moment in Coeburns eyes and face, anyway as I said, they did as much acting without any words as I've ever seen. There could even be a political thing. But it's still there and I'll watch it again for maybe 20th time and I'll laugh and cry just as I did from the first.
You know friend, I've never did any research on exactly what we're talking about but I believe I'll start and do just that. Maybe I can find a clue or two.

Loved movie so much when I was 10 years old. My grandmother fell asleep 1/2way through and I watched it a second time. When we left the theater it was dark and my grandmother wondered what the hell happened.

People with the double R name are usually pretty special. To name just a few: Robert Redford, Roy Rogers, Richard Rogers, Ronald Reagan, Robert Rauschenberg, Roberto Rossellini and Rosalind Russell.
It was such an unexpected movie. It always came on late at night and I was never sure how much of my memory of it was movie vs half asleep dream. Years later I was able to watch it while wide awake and it turns out none of my memory of it was a dream. :) Its just a really unusual movie, even for Leone. Its has clearly Leone parts for most of it but then there are the surreal memory sequences that are scattered throughout that piece together the backstory for why he became who he is. For most of the film those sequences appear to have no place in the story...Hence my doubts about my memory of it years ago. Definitely a must see for anyone who loves a great movie and soundtrack that takes you to places you won't expect.
