Great job! This iconic, historic aircraft deserves this extra attention. I love using my 3d printer for model building as well but like you said you can get lost doing so.
Thank you for watching and commenting. It's nice that others feel the same way. But I don't want to do without the new technology anymore. At the moment I'm very impressed by the ResKit and Eduard print quality...I'd like to have that at home too. Regards ScalerDan
Thank you for the kind words. Please be fair to yourself. Often it is not a question of skills but of how much time you can put into a project. The main thing is that it is fun and does not become frustrating. Weathering is a good way to hide mistakes 🤫. Regards ScalerDan
Nice job Dan!!! Can you desing us a Instrument Panel for Revell´s 1/32 scale Bell X-1??? Would be great to see one with the bezels and a hollow space to place some Airscale decals!!!
Great job, nice simple but effective diorama. Can i ask what brand of rivet tool you used? Also the ak makers are such a time saver, i wouldnt be without mine now.
Thank you for watching and commenting. The tool is an original 'Rosie the Riveter' 0.55 mm. Unfortunately the manufacturer died a few years ago and they are no longer available. I have riveting tools from China that work but nothing feels as good in the hand as the original. The AK Markers are great! Regards ScalerDan
Thank you very much! To be honest 'The Right Stuff' was exactly what I had in my mind when building the diorama. I love the scenes with the X-1 and the unrestricted climb (and fall) of the F-104...Regards ScalerDan
Thank you for your honest feedback! The music thing remains difficult. Some people like music, others don't. I try to keep it quiet in the background to have some noise, but of course it shouldn't be distracting. Regards ScalerDan

Thank you for your kind comment. It is very motivating and helps to continue on this path. Regards ScalerDan
Fantastic build, I really need to add the X-1 to my stash, and I'll be sure to use your 3D printed parts, they really elevated the kit!
Thank you for your kind words. It would be great to see the parts on another model. Best regards ScalerDan
Well done a really lovely build. Here's me struggling to build the kit out the box and your way on another level

I like this a lot and did you have the movie 'The Right Stuff' playing in the background during the build?
