I drive a gun metal grey 2014 MX 5 NC. A ten second car. It came out of the box race ready with Le Mans paddle shifters on the steering wheel. Every time I drive it I'm in a James Bond movie. When people see it they ask, 'does it have machine guns behind the fog lights?' The license plate reads 009. It's definitely licensed to kill. Does a 'drift' nicely. Q branch read out, race ready with paddle shifters. A ten second car, does 0 to 100 mph in ten seconds. Double wish bone suspension and drive while flat tires makes her a nimble cat with tough paws. The body is made of rust resistant steel and carbon fiber (Kevlar) material. It has quarter inch metal armor under the engine and transmission. Stainless steel exhaust of course. A seven speaker Boise sound system keeps the Bond theme music coming thru 5 by 5.
I own a 2000 NB, in Highlight silver, with a black interior and the same style of lip and side skirts as this. It's not too bad, it has some clear coat damage and a few mechanical issues. Compared to this thing, my NB is a total crapbox. What a beautiful car, I'm envious.
I had no idea until now that NB could have green-lit white dials, I've only ever seen orange-lit white dials (NBFL) and green-lit black dials (NB pre-facelift as pictured here). Is it an anniversary edition or what gives?
Yes it's a 2000 Special Edition, it gets the unique to 2000 SE trim paint color of Mahogany Mica with a unique light tinted tan color Mazda calls 'scratch' for the interior. It also gets the 6 speed manual in spite of every other trim level having the 5 speed, a factory Torsen LSD, Nardi Torino wood steering wheel + shift knob, a Bose sound system, all the optional factory aero pieces including the fog lights, and as you asked about -- the white gauges with chrome trim and green lighting to match the chrome wheels and doorsills!
No need to drive fast to enjoy your car Driving fast means more wear, and more risk to break something or even crash the car Nothing wrong with pushing the limit a little from time to time, just so it doesn't clog up.
The vibe of this video is just perfect. The Car is so beatifull, such a good red tone wow.
This is my pov everyday 😂 nice vid!
