I found this channel after reading Malcolm Moore recommend it for snowboard review. Now we’ve come a full circle. I love his way of breaking down techniques to improve my skills. I also watch Ryan Knapton to get hyped because his riding is so smooth.
Agree with all of these channels. I love the simple way Malcolm Moore breaks down the mechanics of snowboarding. His content has helped my 12 year old son progress a lot.
Bennet, Moore and Lapwood for improving riding, you for my view on snowboarding and gear info are what helped me most since i started. More than any real life coach i had. Cheers mate.
To add to this list: squat univerdity is really good for dealing with specific body imbalances or pains. Focusses on a strong functional core and might be very helpfull if you have certain complaints.

Shred ahead are great, they are an inspiration that boarding well into your 70’s is very possible. They need to get their sub count over 1000 along with unstrapped.
Great video Avran, they're all really great channels. One I found out about through Malcom Moore is the Justaride Snowboard channel, theres so much good knowledge over there. Its more aimed at the freeriding side of snowboarding technique wise, but theres plenty of good info on gear customisation and maintenance too!
His advice comes out of his ass which was evident when he decided to come over here and just go on a tirade about things beyond his comprehension or pay grade. Started talking down to me about my earned and owned experiences as if they don't matter. Has less experience than me in everything he talks about but for some reason his minor amount of time snowboarding pales in comparison to the 4000 plus days I've put on the mountain. I blocked him because he's crap. His advice to someone with almost 30 years of doing this comes across as someone with about 4 to 5 years of experience who learned from someone who has maybe 8 to 10 years of experience.

Snowboard Addiction are so rad, that even though they sell a training board and bar , they teach you how to build your own from an old skateboard and a 2x4'. Malcolm Amazing Rider he maxed out the snowboard instructor certifications. Shout out to Unstrapped and andrew !
Knapton is all about carving and is the best at it. With that his channel doesn't really cover much other things. He'd throw in some tips for other things from time to time but mostly it's for carving. I do miss some of the silly skits he used to do like side slipping and the one he rode with ski poles.
Casey is the man, even though he keeps getting more popular over the years, he will still respond to every comment posted on his videos. I agree he didn't make the list as he's more a vlogger, but he deserves to be in the video. Hopefully he does start locking his stuff up. The amount of money he's lost from theft, he could of bought a RV with heated seats lol.
I have subscribed to all your suggestion's, looking forward Mobility Duo at the age of 44 LOL. Also as a long time collector please don't sleep on these North American shops as well. Sanction, Easy Rider, Holy Stokes, Les Moise all great local core shops.
Not a channel but every snowboarder should watch vice’s powder and rails series, so many of the early pros had the sickest style guys like Salasnek and Roach still inspire me to this day
All great channels love that your bringing light to the real snowboard culture and progression channels I’ve found a few of these guys when you’ve recommended them in the live streams🤘
I already only sub ShredBots Official and the Angry. I always get around to watching Good Ride reviews, but their takes are more useful for intermediate riders than the core folks. Will check out these other channels now, too.
Awesome list, thanks Avran! I knew about half of these, if the other half is as good, you've just satiated my snowboarding content demand until my boarding holidays next week. I'm curious why Ryan Knapton is not at least in this list, or at least as an honourable mention with his pure carving focus/niche. Even if the other educational channels are amazing teachers, his specialisation and style are something that uniquely contributed to my carving appreciation and skill. Something you don't enjoy, or just too many good things to choose from?
Knapton is great at what he does, and what I say next comes with great respect, but he's somewhat one dimensional. He also doesn't post as consistently as these guys. is Knapton worth following? Yeah for sure. Is he top 5 must follow? Not really

Have you done any reviews on different snowboard boots? I see a ton of reviews on snowboards as well as bindings, but I’m shopping for new boots and there isn’t a lot of TH-cam channels I’ve found that review boots.

I didn't spend a couple hundred hours learning custom ski boot fitting so I could take it to snowboard boots and then spend a month making a whole video series on it. Right? A guy that's 200lbs with a bigger size right than a left but is a size 10 is going to flex a boot the same as a guy that has equal length feet is 145lbs and a size 10? A guy with a severe pronation on the left vs a guy with 0 pronation or supination will have the same fit as everyone else. GO TRY ON SOME BOOTS AND SEE WHAT WORKS. The Best boot is the one that fits your foot and fits your needs!

Does anyone have a recommendation for a splitboarding/ snowboard touring channel? I haven't seen much around despite the growth in popularity of splitboarding generally.
Not one channel but Krister Kopala who is a pro big mountain skier who rides for Furberg and Rab. He films specifically splitboard/ Mountaineering stuff. Just really gnarly you make a mistake you die kind of things. Alot of him is on Nikolai Schirmer's (yeah I know he is a skier) channel as well as Rab's official channel. He is kinda the only person that is really bringing modern splitboarding into the limelight.

Tribute boys are great, definitely not the in the kook pile, they have a LONG history with the culture of snowboarding and do so much for the snowboard community in the Kootenays
