Let's try to recycle as much as we can like the Blacksmiths.
Please watch through this video and don't forget to subscribe for more videos.
These Blacksmiths are asked to make a set of Blacksmiths important tools by a new blacksmith for $200. First of all they this hammer. This is the biggest hammer for Blacksmiths in Cambodia. It is the most difficult work for them as you can see in the video it is very hard for them to hold the steel bar. The steel bar is 10 kilograms. It is originally from a broken escalator. The whole hammer weights over 5 kilograms. This hammer can be used for tens of years as it made from high quality steel bar and made by skillful Blacksmiths. The head and the peel will not brittle after a careful heat treatment. - ภาพยนตร์และแอนิเมชัน
This man has golden hands and a golden heart because he shows everything without hiding! May Allah give him many years of life and health for his whole family!
Making hammers of this size/weight is maybe an annual event. Special tongs or other holding devices for a once a year 'special project' isn't realistic. Being able to do this at all, is what it's about, not how fast or efficient you are. Two men this skilled that work together this well, denotes a long relationship and a deep respect.
These Two Men have a lot of skill, respect & trust in each other 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
For me personally I rather have one of these hammers made by Roseth and his striker anytime over a factory made one. They are doing this work to support their families and the best thing about it is that they are very humble. Amazing work as always brother, keep it up
No fancy equipment for these guys, just bloody good hand skills.
When I noticed was the square drift...and later the grinding of the welds where the hammer cracked from the square drift and the steel being worked too cold I took pause.
I think this video provides interesting perspective for beginner smiths in the US. First, money, the beginner smith in the US likely has a day job the pays yearly that these guys make in a decade. Second, access, the beginner smith in the US has access to educational resources, tools, machines & steel.
Sitting next to me in my office is a tube of S7 & H13 tool steel from Hudson that will become punches and drifts. I ordered the steel from Starbucks on my phone before going to the gym... It took 4 whole days to get here. 1st world problems... be happy you have them
Right, this blacksmith only make about 100000 riels or about $25 a day while he pays his striker 30000 riels or Less than $8 a day.
🔨 Wow! That hammer is super big indeed. Fabulous work here, my good friend 🔨
Impressive Talent. Been watching a few times a week for about a year. Good Striker. And good Amazing KK Daily Producer! Thank you.
Hardworking combined with skills you archives amazing result big up
I'm partway through making my first blacksmith hammer, only a 2 pounder, and that big one they're making is really going to be a lot of work, but will make a great tool. Keep it up!
Very well done. Good to see real blacksmithing has not gone out of fashion
KK, I've seen many blackshith videos where guys make knives out of all kinds of stuff, but not many of them can be called hammersmiths. You. my friend, are a master craftsman.
A master blacksmith. Hats off to you from USA.
Thanks
Keeping this iron bar in tongs is difficult you should've used iron Steel by welding to the iron bar it is easy to hold it. You're great using tongs only you done that all the best
Ese es un excelente trabajo de forja. FELICITACIONES.
*NICE BIG HAMER GREAT WORK THE STRIKER SHUD GET SOME TOOLS MOST FOR SHURE THE BLACKSMITH HAVE PASS MUCH OF HES AKNOLEGMENT TO HES HELPHER* BLESSINGS !!!!

Lovely big hammer and it will put some muscle on the Striker!! :D
Sure, the striker usually doesn't work very hard but for this project he did really hard work
Nice hammer and profesionaly execution with CLEVER boys...
Perfect work 🛠🔩🔩👏👏🖒🖒💖💖
So great !
Thank you for making this video, I found it interesting to watch...
Maybe He's New Blacksmith but he has tremendous Skills though being new. I appreciate the way they have hammered and struggled to get the forged hammer in shape.... Good Going...keep it up +++++
Great job
Surprisingly solid anvil
1. I hope you charge the new blacksmith plenty for that hammer, with all the work you did.
2. I hope you buy your striker a case of beer or a steak dinner for his work as well...hard work!
3. Nice hammer, well done.
4. Now, if you have the resources to make a hammer, you certainly can make some large hammer tongs.
Can't be more than that, $25 is pretty much already in Cambodia for that hammer.
The striker is paid the same amount of money daily but when I film them I always have extra money and food for them. They work really hard from morning till evening.
@@AmazingKKDaily Your striker does indeed work very hard. You are lucky to have him. Treat him well. Who needs a power hammer?
Very good work. Next time weld a rebar to the steel with welding machine and you can confortably carry on.
Nice work
Great job ...
Nice Job...

IT'S REALLY HARD BECAUSE WE DON'T HAVE ENOUGH TOOLS
good job MaşaAllah.Selam from Türkiye
Nice hammer. Ty
Thanks sir
That's cool.......
Wouldn't mind having a hammer like that!!
Спасибо за видеоролик, с уважением к вам Россия.
I give you a tip: weld a long iron rebar on the end and you can hold it 😀
That steel is T H I C C
Why dont you make tongs big enough to hold it? or just weld a handle on it until you are done with most of the work ?
Because we don't make it often that why we didn't have to make a tongue
You should also weld the wedge for making the eye onto a piece of rebar
E pensado fabricar herramientas y arme un martinete casero para forjar , su trabajo es muy bueno , saludos desde Mexíco .
Hard work guys next time Welt a bar on your workpeace⚒️🔥⚒️
Wow! That is amazing. Beautiful work. Why do you sift out the smaller pieces of charcoal, and not put them in the forge?
Making hammers is so much fun. I just finished one today
I dont know if youre the same, but i see a GuardedDig2 on reddit at least every day, in r/blacksmith

It's a best way to make hammer from fire burning coal to hammering by this they made it ...
it is a bit difficult for this work as we don't a have a pair of big tongues that fit the hammer being made
How big are the hammers you use to forge? Usually the master uses two hammers and the assistant uses a bigger one, how heavy are they? Thank you.
Good video, but tell me how did your make blowing for that heat coal?
Love your videos and subject matter. One favor, for those of us that read slower could leave the text up a little longer. Thanks
Amazing work. You people are growing now you need some bigger tongs .
U amezed me again, God bless U!
Good job if I wish I can get one I will pay money
we only accept local orders
yo no he visto que tengas un sello personal a sus trabajos, deberia poner un sello a los trabajos ya que es alguien importante en las redes
This is cool...need to make more tongs though...
You can use scrap rebar from old demolished buildings and make good quality tongs with this, easily as you are skilled and quite clever based on all your videos.....
Where abouts in Cambodia is your shop?....
It is in Pursat province's Krakor district.
A blacksmith makes an A-1 blacksmith tools for other blacksmith.. What a selfless guy.
What type of wood is used for the handle? Thanks!
weld a stub of rebar to the end for tongs to hold
👍👍
hi buntho, is this project before roseth had a home made powerhammer?
ដាក់លេខជាងមួយមកបង
Should have welded a handle on with some scrap rebar and welder
Bad Dog forge that wouldn’t be very comfortable to use for a long time
@@JustinTopp neither is a 22lb chunk of red hot excavator pin
I thought you meant for the final handle lol I was tired
Long time u do work.can buy new anvil for easy to work.
how about the anvil?
Кувалда не молоток прилетит мало не покажется. Насаживайте правильно!
U need to dip your drift in water again and again to keep it cool.
It is hard to dip the drift. Dipping the drift means dipping the whole thing I think.
Thanks for idea. It can be good
Drift must be a little hot while working.. repeatedly cooling the drift may cause to break the drift .. 😁😁 let it be a little headed while punching the hole ..
@@milliondollarbaby1911 if not dipped in water too much heat will ruin the heat treatment of tool and eventually it will break or crack
he is a very skilled blacksmith why is he not making a pair of tings that fit the job at hans
love you my MUSLIM brothers, from Pakistan
What other people will do is that they will weld a rod onto the piece they are working with if they don't have a big enough clamp. After the work is almost done. They will then cut off the rod.
They seem to be lacking.... Maybe I can go teach them some basics.
Thanks

What flux would this master blacksmith recommend ps I can't really get borax here
Bamboo is good or iron
Excuse me, are you from ayothaya?
So funny
It burnt the wedge..... Tighte'n up hit the damn thing
Must be 4140 steel. It is a shaft and so is an axle.
Hammers are easy and not hard to make. They are not even close to the biggest or hardest tools to make. We take it for granted now but in the early days, the biggest and hardest tool to make was the anvil. They were one of the last tools a apprentice made before he became a journeyman. FYI.
You are right
The bigger the harder
Now we just cut and grind railroad rails...did you say $25 a day?
Anvils were made by factories even before the 18th century and not made by the blacksmith themself.
if u hold that hammer up in the air upside down (hammer head part down) and hit the bottom of the handle it will force that handle into the head
Old school methods
As I was taught
you mean you are also a blacksmith
you must be a good one
How much to get one made and shipped to the US?
We can only set the price but We don't know how much to ship it.
