I've never been a fan of wigs. I think it's because of poor installation and maintenance. But I really love this and appreciate all the work and effort that went into this.
A lot of them do so idk why they wear wigs like that have to. The amout of time they spend prepping for a wig and doing it could be spent doing something to their own hair.
She took “when you always wished there were eye holes in the wig cap so you can actually see yourself applying the Got2Be but actually are smart enough to create them” to a whole new level 👏🏽💯

And to shed some light on the situation, we don’t always have the time (which our texture of hair requires much more care, time, love, gentleness and patience) to style our natural hair because it’s requires so much and this (believe it or not is a quick way to style and go) is considered a protective style which allows us the ability to have the styles and versatility we like, but most importantly gives our very fragile yet beautiful hair a break from all the things that can damage it (such as cold, heat, our hands etc). She can't curl/style her hair like that (without way more effort, think someone with straight hair trying to style an afro). That is someone's natural curly hair. Also, a wig is not likely to get ruined by environmental elements like your real hair. I plan to wear hair my same length and style at my wedding because I dont want any chance of it looking poofy because of the humidity.

The wig is partly the reason her hair is long and healthy! The braids protect the hair but the wigs give a person the versatility of having different hairstyles while the hair is braided underneath. For example the braids may not be the look you wanted if you had an event to attend but she can put a wig on top and create a different look while still protecting her natural hair. The spray in the yellow bottle is called Got 2 B glue hairspray which is a strong hairspray that can be used as an adhesive for wigs and wig caps. It can be washed right out or you can wet it and it'll loosen up. The foam was more than likely a hair mousse and one without alcohol would be best. Hope that helps out!

You did a wonderful job doing the bald cap method. I was impressed. The fact that people's didnt understand that this is how you apply your wig was crazy to me . If you wanted to braid your hair in a style it's not like you couldnt . They missed whole point of the video. Beautiful job.
This wasn’t bizarre, it was a total slay. Skillfully installed. Melted lace. The only bizarre part is using face powders/foundation that doesn’t match the real skin tone of neck and ears.
I agree, I didn't use my normal foundation for my face because I honestly didn't feel like doing a face but I wanted to complete the look. So I grabbed what I had in front of me. The lighting didn't help! But honesty appreciated!
There were real issues back in those days of the Egyptians with fleas and general hygiene. So they shaved their heads and wore wigs. There is a wig at the British museum in one of the Egyptian rooms and you would swear that they had been to the hair shop that morning and not be about 2500 years old! It's the same reason why slaves would grease their scalp with cooking fat/butter/vaseline etc or whatever was around.
