He did not do well the first half of the season, but if you go back and look at the games, he played very solid defense the second half of the season, guarding the other side's biggest back court scorer night after night and holding his own against the likes of SGA, Booker, and others. The biggest difference between Reaves last year and the year before is that they year before the team was noticeably better with him on the court to the point that it was hard to take him out; while last season, for whatever reason, he did not have the same impact on games on a consistent basis.

He was atrocious all season not just the first half. Reaves also had the Second worst defensive epm.
