Hi Pam. Love your process I need to make my own books I am so excited too I need more hours in the day have a 7 month old German shepherd puppy and takes all of my free time at mo hopefully soon though lol. ❤. Sunny you are a handsome pooch ❤ xxx
Hi Pam. Hi Paper Outpost friends. Pam I watched you make a book like this almost 4 years ago and I have made so many since then. I love this method of construction and never can get enough of watching you make it. This cover is gorgeous. I hope you will take us along for the rest of this beautiful book. Happy Sunday everyone ❤
For Christmas this past year I made 72 mini-journals out of vintage-style cards for my co-workers. Three-hole pamphlet stitch for the win! They turned out really cute, but went largely unappreciated. That was a bit disappointing, but I enjoyed making and decorating them, regardless of whether anyone cared to receive them. Who knows, maybe someone will be inspired one day?
i'm sorry that your colleagues didn't appreciate your artwork & hardwork. i think it takes a fellow crafter to REALLY appreciate the love & time that goes into the crafts i make.
Just found your channel!! Out of alllll the many hours & years of crafting this is the first time I have seen the hidden spine!! Love it!! Hugs to you and Sunshine!💝
Good demonstration! When I started making journals I got a good tip from Michelle at The creative cove - when starting out, before sewing signatures in, loop some narrow elastic cord round to hold all the pages in, then if any mistakes in decorating occur the page can be pulled out and replaced easily. When it's all ready to go the final stitching in can be done. This helped me when I was deciding page layouts and orders.
I’ve been a follower since TPO started, Thank you for the amazing tutorials, I look forward to hearing Pam & Sunny with their commentary. 😂 It’s always A pleasant morning when watching you, Also I have to comment on how awesome that book cover turned out. 👌🏼❤ To all have a great day. 😊💐
Since we just switched from daylight savings time, I can so relate to Sunny's drowsiness. Such a beautiful journal, Pam, and a great, instructional, inspiring video!
Love it when you make journals with us! This is turning out so pretty💕💕 Love crafting in my pajamas, I figure it saves my "street clothes" , considering my pj's are all heavily anointed with glue, ink, paint, etc... 😂😂
Hi Pam I'm. Newbie to the paper Outpost AND I am loving ❤ this channel so much. 😊 ur hilarious and ur teaching Us newbies is amazing. Thank you so much.
I always enjoy watching you make these journals Pam, you make it look effortless, this will be a lovely journal, looking forward to you decorating it. Hey!!! Maybe when it's finished, I might just be quick enough to buy it, (IF I'M LUCKY & FAST) hahahaha xxxxx luv to Mr Snuffa Panats.
I must ask, how does Hubby feel about those Cow pjs? Lol! I love watching you create! Mr. Sunshine needs to go to bed earlier so we can enjoy him longer! Happy crafting everyone!
Loved this weekend with 3 videos in a row! Never enough Pam! I am going to attempt a hidden spine tomorrow! It’s Family Day Stat in Canada! Whoop! ❤️📕🇨🇦
Hold on , hold on , did I miss the coffee dye with lace video somehow? Nice papers there Pam 🤗. Have to browse through your previous videos for that 👍🏼
Ciao Miss Pam, Mr Sunshine and fellow crafters. It's always exciting to see your books come together, Pam. I've only done one so far but it's such a sense of accomplishment! I can't wait for the new book pages. I need to work on some too.
Making this book has been so fun to watch. That cover is fun! You come up with beautiful concoctions in your journal making. Enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing. Sunny holding out and bargains with chicken! ❤🤭
Wish I saw this yesterday when I did EVERY THING WRONG!!! At least when I rip it out I will (hopefully) do it correctly. Thats todays project after Dr visit! Thanks for this video.
I have enjoyed watching you do this book from cover to finish. Great video! You are so funny! I love seeing Sunny's fuzzy little face, he's too cute! Have a great afternoon Pam and Sunny! ❤😊
Wowzers! Another video!!! Cool. I've watched you do this hidden spine before. I love the idea but I don't trust it?...the glue?...me?...to be a viable option for me to try. Besides, lace and fabric on the outside spine is pretty 😂. Call me a coward. I'm ok with that. 😊 TFS Hope you all have a great day. 🙄
I got way behind at the beginning of February! I turned 44 on February 5th. On February 6th, A lady ran a Red Light & I NAILED HER at 45mph! Thankfully, no one was seriously injured! Needless to say, My Car was Totaled. It took the Insurance Companies an Entire Week to complete their investigations, but they finally got me A Rental Car... Which is Really REALLY NICE! (I'm hoping maybe they'll Forget about me & just let me Keep It!!! SHHH!!! LOL)
What is the hole puncher called, the big blue one. Where is the place I can get it or order it from? You absolutely have inspired me. I’m disabled in bed all the time and my add 10 pushover my table to where I can do the journals. Do you have a light above you or is that one of the clip on arm lamp just asking so I know what I can get to be able to do these the right way, I would appreciate any information that you can give me I am Young. This inspires me to do something instead of just watched TV. Thank you so much.
She’s probably going to say absolutely not! You make your journal how you like. But a tip she has given when making it themed, is decorate the journal in increments equal to signatures. So if you make a certain type of pocket, make 3 very similar with all the similar goodness, then put one in each signature. Do that throughout and it carries the colors and items evenly throughout. Which I think is genius! I love her journal making techniques. They’re the best. Plus you get madness and mayhem!😂 ROOM FOR A VERY MISCELLANEOUS JOURNAL and changing themes.
You design your j j pages however you feel your creative juices r taking u: It is a surprise as u turn the page to view your eclectic creativity throughout each of your j j pages.
Use a strong tape on the inside, duct tape, tyvet tape. For the outside, I used fabric, if you are totally covering the outside spine you can use more tape. Pam has shown this in a video but I can't find it.

I love your creativity! That cover is fabulous!
I am a librarian, when I fix spins I put 2-3 rubber bands from spin to front edge and place spin down between two book ends for 2-3 days.

Always so much fun to follow you!! I always learn something new. Maybe you've answered this elsewhere but I wondered if you ship to Canada?
I need to go get the Crop-A-Dile BIG BITE! I have the Regular Crop-A-Dile, but I want the Biggin! LOL!
i found it very cumbersome to use. i returned mine. maybe you can borrow one before you buy it?
Yes, nose looks pink today, Sunny! 🤔
Hey Pam. Love your videos, can you tell me where you get the adorable peg stamps? Thanks!
Love it. Where can I sign up for the newsletter?
Just found out how to stop my papers from moving while putting in the wholes😅
Pam does your junk journals have to carry a theme all the way through ? Mine seem to go off course and change themes

P.S I meant Mr Snuffle Pants, sorry sunbun, your sooo cute xx
How do I fix the book where the spine sits. Getting the pages out i cut the book where the cover meets the spine. I want to repair it correctly.
Use a strong tape on the inside, duct tape, tyvet tape. For the outside, I used fabric, if you are totally covering the outside spine you can use more tape. Pam has shown this in a video but I can't find it.
This journal is very interesting. I love the outside!!!
