Hey man, you said this bike seems really light and easy to ride, but would it be good for a starter bike?- especially if you're not gonna go crazy fast unless the roads empty, but I just don't like little sports bikes man, big cruiser bikes are so much cooler
Everyone always assumes their cruiser is going to beat a sport bike. The assumption is that ALL sport bike riders ride their bikes in the low rpm range like cruiser riders do. That is typically not the case. Yes, a 500 Ninja twin might lose to an 1800 cruiser, but a 600 inline 4 cylinder and larger cc sport bike is going to whip the cruiser every time. Even my 1500cc Valkyrie with a timing wheel advance and open pipes could not catch those 600cc and larger sport bikes if they were ready. The VTX1800 is heavier than a Valkyrie and a Valk is a 6 cylinder bike. Nice bike the Honda VTX1800, but a 1200cc Vmax or an 1130cc V-Rod makes the VTX 1800 look slow.
***** Sean I really like your videos and I am keeping an eye on a bike I like (when it comes up). I did not see that ZX14 having a video. Oh, BTW a Vrod does the 1/4 mile in 11.3 sec. Put 2 up on the bikes and go up hill and the VTX1800 will kill the Vrod and Vmax - torque monster, but not a speed monster. Keep up the great showing of your in stock bikes.
