On Saturday (May 11), the crooner left while ironically singing “How You Gonna Act Like That” after reportedly being alerted that someone was about to serve him court papers.
Per TMZ and a video that’s surfaced, a security guard seemingly whispered something to Tyrese mid-performance. He kept singing while also jumping off the stage, exiting, and expressing his love for the crowd. He tried to blame the abrupt exit on him “being over [his] time,” but the outlet noted that he had three songs left in his set. The papers being served were from Bryan Barber, who’s suing Tyrese for defamation and libel."
