And Bodi is talented but I found him and his picks boring.

John is a legit musician, and his expressions *during* the performances say a lot about the caliber of the performer. He knows music, and he knows how hard it is to do, for example, what she did in this performance. The ear training in these crazy modes, he knows about all of that. And it tickles his autism when someone like this comes along and shows true ability. I love seeing it lol.
THE performance of the season and it’d be an absolutely crime if she does not make it into the finale. But even if she does not, her voice transcends this show and will continue to lead her far.
