I hate to be that guy but actually a cartridge contains both the gunpowder and the ball and he did it in the wrong order too you pour some gunpowder on the part the Flint pets then you put the entire cartridge into the musket bore can you then use your ramrod to safely push it all the way down where it's nice and seated

You load the gunpowder on the barrel first.. and then grab a cloth and then put it outside of the barrel.. put your lead ball on the cloth.. start the ball with your starter.. and then get your ramrod and ram your ball down the barrel.. make sure the ball is sealed tightly within the gunpowder.. then open the pan.. put a quarter on gunpowder in the pan, close the pan, cock the gun, and your ready to fire 🤓☝️
