Can I just say, I absolutely love when people try scratch without taking the mick out of it? I love how you treated this seriously and made a really good looking game, and as someone who's spent probably hundreds of hours on a single scratch game, and tries in earnest to make my scratch games feel as professional as possible, I truly respect the effort that went into it!

for the direction bug on the boomerang, you can just make it move using a direction variable paired with sin and cos movement

Have you ever considered making a small project in Construct 3? I've been using it for a few years now and I find it very satisfying to just worry about the logic of coding instead of the syntax. It can also do some surprisingly powerful things! Free version is a bit limited, but there are some creative ways to get around that.

I have an idea!! You are at a lock-in in a library with six other lucky winners. Each day, one goes missing, however, and the lock-in lasts WAY longer than expected. The library has a back room with a generator and other things that are constantly sbotaged, and cryptic messages such as “There is no escape”. You run toward the door with a newfound key, but suddenly realize that the entire door has vanished and shadowy entities with collars on stalk you. The collars read the names of the other six people who won the trip. Find out who is making the creatures before time runs out.
