The smiles and faces of your kids in the camera are really a nice touch of fresh air in wwing( in comparing to other wwing channels ). I always joke around while wwing. I loved it when i was working with my grandpa (my hero my inspiration my bigest fan my mentor).

It is great to see your daughters working with you in the shop. Should the box have some drawings holes? I realize the stain was chosen by the customer, but my current favorite stain for rustic projects is Minwax's Driftwood stain. On pine it gives an olive (grayish green) shading.

Built this from the plans for my dining room table and it works wonderfully. Keep it on furniture sliders so that it is against the opposing wall instead of up to the table all the time. Build went quite well as the plans are good and James explains it really well in the video. I probably watched the video 3 (7? 12?) times during building to make sure I had it all explained enough in my head. Slapped some cushions on it and when we all are gaming around the table, people are able to sit at it for 4 hours without complaint. Really cant complain at all.

I love these benches for their beautiful and functional use in the garden! Great sturdy bench. In heavy rain, will water get into the storage area? maybe a foam or neoprene seal around the opening and a metal hook and eye closer
can't wait to see your video on pocket holes - I think they are real tough. Especially when you use good joinery - joining design. your bench is built for a completely different reason. Mine is for my kitchen - and I have three more builds to match - coming up.
