I loved your video because you showed how to make a tug toy with both the loop and straight tugs! Your directions were clear and since I also crochet, I'll be checking out your crochet videos, too. Love the toy!!!
Ok! I'm an old lady with minimal short term memory loss from a stroke. Just to understand what I'm saying! Lol its very minimal but this was tripping me up I finally calm down and thought about it! I was not using any your colors. I don't have t shirt yarn those colors! But I have yarn. Lol was out of orange but had ribbon. I tied your colors around mine and slowed down speed. Then made me a little graph. Got it in few stitches! Thank you!
You did a good job. Don't be worried tutorial was good and I was able to follow it easy. I used tshirt yarn I made from old walmart camis. Thanks so much for the video :)
Great instructions - I love the loop handle part. Just adopted an energetic - loves to chew dog and was surprised how much store bought toys are - thank you for showing us how to make this - I have a feeling we will be going through quite a few of these so I'll be busy 😉
Love this design! I've been making just straight tug toys so this new design was fun to make! There is a TH-cam video that shows how to cut a t-shirt so you get one long string instead of cutting it into a bunch of strips. That helped get strings 110" long.
Absolutely great instructions. Very clear, very thorough. No need to apologize so much! This was one of the best tutorials on this kind of square knot dog toy that I've watched. Thank you!
Oh gosh you're very kind thank you. This video was recorded YEARS ago. I've gotten much more comfortable with my teaching skills over the years :) I appreciate your kindness!
I love it so much. Something I could't find: If I want a tinier version (like the one you showed at the beginning, which length should I calcite with not to waste too much yarn??? Plus: Is that tiny one also t--shirt yarn? If yes which width please? Thank you so much!!!
I don't know if you have ever done those key rings with those colored plastic laces. If you have, hold this project like those it might make it less awkward holding it.
Im having such a hard time writing up my own crochet patterns, and have asked EVERYWHERE for a guide or layout that I can go off of, but no one has answered! Do you have any suggestions?
Hey Lovella. I don't teach pattern design but I do have one blog post that might be helpful for you www.acraftyconcept.com/how-to-write-a-crochet-pattern-what-to-include/
I realize this comment is 2 years old, but in case anyone new comes along and has the same question, this video shows how to cut up a t-shirt into one long string. Then you can make the long strands. The larger the t-shirt, the longer the string. th-cam.com/video/OGzFC-0Yj3o/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=MomEberhard
Im not sure but its worth a try! If you see the dog taring it up easily though I wouldn't let them have it, they could swallow the pieces and get sick :(

It's sort of like the old school plastic lanyards we used to make in summer camp.

Yesss, that’s what it looks like!!
It's exactly like that! I thought I was the only one that did this as a kid for a minute there!!

Nice dog toy! A great one to make and donate to animal shelters. Thanks for sharing your design.😀
Yes it would be perfect for that!! You could even get a group of folks together to make a bunch around Christmas time or something!

You ever try doing a Mathew Walker knot at the end?I think I will try that.
I Love this video.❣️ This tutorial inspire me to make my own version of 🐶 toy.😊
Personally I've used polar fleece . It won't fray and your dog won't choke on stray threads
Thanks for the tip!
Great introductions 😊
Thank you so much ❤

Hey Ashley - do I need 4 pieces of tshirt yarn that are each 110 inches? Or one 110 inch piece divided into 4 equal lengths?
Hey Stacy! 4 pieces that are 110 in long :)
I made a toy using old worn out sheets
Love it!
How many times did you guys stop for thinking about wether you did a left or a right round? 😹
Can I make with yarn please reply soon
Like today on 15
@@cutiesartgallery4345 sorry for the late reply. I have made them with bernat blanket yarn before but they don't hold up as well as the t shirt yarn

How u made 110 inch T-shirt yarn
I used t shirt yarn that was store-bought, but you can knot the ends together or even sew them together if you are a sewer :)

What do you do if you loose your spit when you’re making the loop. I lost my spot
Loose your spot
Can we try in saree clothes
