I watched the match live in Roland Garros. Hubert was not "comfortable" at all. If anything, it seemed like Shintaro lost because of some of his own non-forced errors, and it was very close. He was very creative while Hubert was playing like a (broken) robot. In the 4th set, Shintaro was clearly very fatigued and decided to try to give his all in the last set, while Hubert finally got some composure. In any case, the most enjoyable match of that day at Roland Garros, with fans encouraging both players. Let's hope we can see more Shintaro Mochizuki in the big tournaments.

Qualifiers are always tricky. Warmed up, accustomed to the courts, mentally confident. Of course it was a pretty shaky start for Hurkacz but actually the fact Mochizuki was a qualifer worked in the guy's favour.

That qualifier beat Fritz in Tokyo and was then outside top200. So far qualifiers are doing very well here. Bergs beat Tabilo (Rome semifinalist) and De Jong beat Draper. Also being a qualifier doesn't mean they can't play good tennis. For example Marozsan was a qualifier in Rome last year ranked #135 and beat Alcaraz.

You should try googling what "joke" means. Maybe you would understand.
C'mon guys - you can accept a bit of trolling from time to time... I knew before the match was stopped in 5th set - so I knew it was far away from "comfortable", but didn't know who won - and still I smiled seeing that title (and Mochizuki's photo). I treat this as one-time joke (but I wouldn't mind another one as well). If suggesting a winner is wrong, then let's have some fun the other way around. HOWEVER, I agree that presenting 2 names without any words implying the plot, which round, what tournament and photos of both players (without images suggesting who won) - that should be the golden standard.
