Is this the only kind of hair that can be used for this style or can regular braiding hair be used like Queen B or Spectra. Also great detailed explanation because the last person you couldn't really see what she was doing because of her camera angle. So thank you very professional video
@@HopeLanay they do also sell these locs in 12 inches and 14 inches as well so you don’t have to get the 18 inch length that’s in the video. If you click on the link that I left in my description box it will bring you to the product and you can just choose what length you want instead of getting the 18 inch and then cutting them. ❤️❤️❤️
I did combs his locs out and started from scratch. You can also start with locs as well especially if your locs are already long and you don’t want to cut them. ❤️❤️❤️
I’m so glad I came across this video. My husband wants loc extensions too and I lm going to do them. When you cut them do they unravel? He wants his short also
You can take them out whenever you want or keep them in forever. It’s totally up to you. Some people do just that, keep them in until their natural hair grows to the length they want and then cut them out. Its personal preference ❤️❤️❤️
This way that I installed it is permanent but you can crochet them in so that they aren’t permanent and you would be able to take them out and still be able to wear your natural hair as well.
I know you said something about the hair being all human hair etc but at any point should that hair need to be soaked in acv or its really 100% human hair im asking because of allergies
Instead of locking the hair with a crochet needle, you crochet regularly and wrap the loose hair around the loc. I will demonstrate it in my next loc video.
The amount of pack your need depends on the number of locs you currently have in your head or the number of locs you want to be put in your head. 10 locs come one pack. He had about 74 locs in his head so I used 7 full packs and a few pieces from the 8th pack. I hope this helps ❤️❤️❤️
So I got straight hair. Would you know the best place to get extensions for straight hair? Or should I just get straight hair extensions and crotchet the extensions myself before adding them to my hair
You can use these same loc extensions on your straight hair you would have to use the same crochet method I used to attach them over time it will lock togetehr
