I bought the MT44 selfie stick from Ulanzi that also doubles as a stand and comes with an ingenious phone mount that folds down to reveal a 1/4 screw which is great for connecting my DJI Osmo Pocket 3

I find you don't need to keep adjusting that collar. When the legs are splayed even with the nut loose it will not retract a leg. One other thing, if you are filming out of say a car window, with the tripod fully extended, you can use the feet as a counterbalance by holding further up the extended pole, while doing a video of the wheels rotating etc. Best Dave

It can't pivot. Might need to add a little magic arm to get it to pivot
