    8:00 - IDSA's guideline on asymptomatic bacteriuria from 2019 recommends not screening nor treating asymptomatic bacteriuria after the first month post renal tx.
    They had no recommendation about the first month because of lack of data and complexity of that initial post tx period.

      I agree sir, but many centres do follow. Upto - 3 months...
      Best option among the given choices...

      I realize that practices differ and treatment is probably very common due to higher likelihood of asymptomatic bacteriuria resulting in clinically relevant infection post transplant, although there is always the question of actual clinical evidence, and whether screening and treating has benefit in reality.
      The trend does seem to be towards less screening and treating over the years, but uncertainty still exists as to what is optimal. I do not even know what the most common practice is in my area, let alone around the world.
