I don't get why everyone is comparing Man in Black to Spicebomb. The opening is similar that's true but the rest of the fragrance is completely different.

Absolutely cannot find Code Absolu, stronger with you absolutely and Italian Love anywhere here. And then YSL discontinuing ultime and bleu electrique made it totally impossible to find any here. Sigh
Just order decants. Not sure where you are but " decantx " has both in stock. Stronger with you absolutely up to 10ml at $25 USD and Code Absolu up to 32ml at $45 USD. I imagine the size options are because of limited quantities.
got a sample of sauvage elixir ... wore it .....three days later I walked into the spare room and the smell was intense . it was coming from the neck orlf the top I had been wearing . smelt like I had just sprayed it
You will get seriously mixed reactions with Red Tobacco depending on when you have applied it... I grew to like the opening as well... but if you're going to be around other people it's best you spray this one on about half an hour prior... even still this is one of my favorite fragrances
Nothing wrong with the red tobacco opening, all I smell is the most delicious gourmand vanilla with a very gorgeous gourmand tobacco and it's smooth. Completely different than what i've heard about it, wasn't expecting such a gourmand and nice vanilla scent mixed with that really well done tobacco. Smells like spicebomb extreme mixed with pure havane. Too much fear mongering out there for this fragrance, it's not a scary fragrance and the opening is amazing. I don't think anyone can be offended by a vanilla opening because vanilla is universally loved by everyone

Hey Ash. I had no idea that there was an I Hate Vetiver Club!? How interesting 🤔. I own everything from Lagerfeld's Bois de Vetiver, Eau Sauvage Parfum, to a genuine Ruh Khus attar from India. There is so much diversity with Vetiver that l never grow tired of it. Ah, did I mention Guerlain's vetiver? 😉 vetiver is also considered the oil of tranquility. 😴 💤
New bottles of Eros perform really badly, I would really not recommend it for it's performance anymore. My new bottle doesn't even last half as long as my 2015 bottle.
It's amazing how many people don't understand some fragrances are so strong they make you have anosmia. Remember just because YOU can't smell it nomore doesn't mean everybody else can't.
Ash, are you talking about the recent batches of Initio? In 2021 they watered them down, Side Effect from 76% to 80% alc. so less perfume oil. I assume this has a negative impact on the scent and performance or not?
Bro, any frag that was released a few years ago or more, will have been watered down and performance killed. Frag houses are all about profit. They are reformulating everything these days, it’s a joke. I have a large niche and designer collection and only a small handful actually require less than 20 sprays.
If we're being fair at least one Montale fragrance deserves to be on that list. I know they're not popular because their oud profile isn't for everyone but noone can deny the insane sillage on most if not all of them.
I would be so happy if Eros lasted on me hahaha. For me, I could spray 20 times (EDP version) and it would last about 1 hour at most (projecting, in the skin about 4 hours). I love it, but terrible performance for me (and yes, it's original hahaha)
Toni Iommi is the only fragrance that I had to buy immediately after I sprayed it on my skin once, no need to see if it will last or how it would change, one of the best decisions I made!
I want a bottle of Iommi sooo bad just too expensive. The reason he has a fragrance with them is because when the band would travel he would love to collect fragrances from all over the world and continued to do this throughout his life!!! Black Sabbath is one of my favorite bands of all time and would love to add a bottle to my collection at some point!

I love blue fragrances and I still love YSL Kouros. It is the epitome of masculinity, not for the boys. 80’s powerhouse it gives me hairy chester macho man vibes.

24 oud gold is a much heavier version of 24…. Ill have to try xerjoff iommi, strongest fragrance with great quality i can think of is scorpion intense from odyon dubai… picture a fruiter version of red tobacco with no sharpness and more power (winter time preferred on that one haha)
Are we just accepting that people are using 'projection' and 'sillage' interchangeably nowadays? They seem to be. I realise they are somewhat similar, but they are not the same things.
I would say light blue intense. It's an easier wear. The grapefruit in the opening of forever is pretty strong and some people think the dry down of forever has a b.o. smell(although I don't get that).
Just wanna echo your Initio Side Effect addition. I think it smells fantastic, especially as the day goes on. But you definitely wanna be careful with the number of sprays and probably have it on for a bit before you leave your house. Love it though.
Still have some vintage Dior Fahrenheit and Joop Homme bottles, who were much, much stronger back in the day (as edt's, especially Joop). I remember my parents sometimes complaining about smelling them in the living room from upstairs in the bathroom. 🙂

Cedrat Boise should be on this list. I got an OG bottle and the performance and projection is absolutely nuclear

Sauvage Elixir is POTENT. Chocked my self with TWO SPRAYS ONLY! Be carful with that beast of a scent.
