Thank you Larry, for wanting to start a band. Every time I watch this song, what ever decade, venue or version, I am grateful those 3 people answered his request.
BerlinoDuke Thank you for your support and for shooting such good video yourself. This would not have been possible without the help of you and the other fans. Cheers.
If you watch this song live anywhere else but Dublin The audience don’t even compare too us Maybe our Latin cousins but We are on a different Level❤️🇮🇪
Ruaidhri O'Baoill Thanks Ruaidhri. It pretty much always make a strong impact when they play it. Crowd always seems to react and participate well. Appreciate all those who shot their excellent footage and enabled this to be put together. Cheers
njdel1 Thank you very much for your support with this video. It would not have been possible without the footage from yourself and all the other fans. Cheers
I love 'Bad' it was the song that got me into U2 after hearing it at 'Live Aid' but for the first time ever I was so disappointed that in Dublin The Edge picked up his fender stratocaster and not his Gibson Explorer to play "A Sort of Homecoming"
I think a good amount of people were possibly like yourself hoping for A Sort of Homecoming. Maybe the band thought it might be too cliche or predictable & felt like playing an alternative song on the night. Maybe someone asked them for Bad instead & they wanted to honour that request. Thanks for watching and for your comment.
