Second that. I guess, a lot of people in the spectrum or who are really obsessed know, that an (good) idea has to be followed, steps to be taken and a goal to be pursuit. And you cannot just stop until you finished it. A curse. A gift.
It goes without saying that, for those who have the means to live their passion, being able to drink their coffee while looking at their 911 Singer before hitting the road for the sheer joy of driving is an indisputable privilege!
I can't imagine what it would be like to be part of Singer, I would be genuinely happy sweeping the floors, just to physically see the passion. Awesome film
That track looks amazing...an oasis for any pure driver. Happy for Singer. What a poetic partnership to the beginning of a new journey! Looking forward to visiting Magarigawa Club one day. 🎉
I'll be honest... I could watch an hour of this and still not be bored. Wonderful video that really captures the essence of this collaboration and of Japan itself. Well done to all involved!
Eye-wateringly impressive (that might not be a word, but it fits!). THANK YOU Chris + Singer Team!!! What a joy to watch, and more importantly, I can't wait to see what the future holds for the alliance. This is more exciting than the supersonic jets I flew.
A quick dip into whats goung on at Singer, bringing along the affiliated supporters and crew. Such beautiful cars. A Rolex of the car world. Chris Harris is an alround decent human being and well picked out to support the team.
Wow, just wow… listen I’ve bought sold and driven all the cars Chris has reviewed… I absolutely love this guy and he tells it just as it is, God bless x😊
Love these short to the point videos. Spot on. Expensive for me though as I will now have to go to Japan to see for myself. Thank you for making this . 👏👏👍
Amazing. I remember emailing Singer when they first released their cars just to share my absolute delight at what they had created, and they responded with gratitude. I have followed them ever since and feel very proud of them and for them, and their success. Do be able to pour over details and bring your vision to light is a rare joy!
don't worry there are hundreds of thousands Porsches ou there. its not 300, 500 even a thousand if you count every "restomod" companies, that is going to change the Posche ethos
The gold one is incredible!🤯👌🏻 I don’t know why people moan about the price, I’ll never be able to own one but doesn’t stop me liking the cars! It’s the same with Koenisegg, amazing engineering and style!
@@alphaenterprise2232 Porsche people bruh. Just smile and say sure. Keeping spending all that money when a purpose built track car is faster and cheaper.
Interesting future for sure. 🙏🏽👌🏼 I fantasise about a wide bodied flared arched 928 in the Singer style. And an extreme basic 365/911 mash up with a flat 4 with a moderate performance for its weight. Aimed directly at those who love the looks/handling but just can't afford the mind blistering cost of a full hand build. Please, just for me. 🙏🏽 😁
It is allways a joy to see Chris Harris. I cannot however understand why Singer altered the body, I mean the 964 is 911 pinnacle design. The interior of singer is however magic. I really think that RUF is a better, more rounded proposition.
Don't get me wrong, Singer cars are a work of art and I'm not surprised about their price tag but to say your work isn't tinged with elitism when they are prices north of a million while being showcaseed in a private race track is a bit ironic
You aren't wrong, you are absolutely right. Maybe singer porsches are beautiful, but they are extremely overpriced for what they offer. What you exactly pay for is exclusivity and scarcity, Nevertheless the entire trend with porsche restomods is elaborate way to cash grab and stroke egos of multimilonaires around a globe who are dumb enough to buy this instead the original 911 930
Why should they make more affordable cars just to get their asses handed to them by big car companies who are much better at doing affordable mass produced cars?
I connect with the comment on the cars connecting to people who cant afford one now but will in the future. Creating something appealing but ultimately obtainable is key. Creating uber-exclusive products for 0.1% isn't a good recipe for having a passionate customer base that champions the product and a market big enough to sustain the developments.
One thing I respect about Chris Harris is how he straddles the line between everyday have a go car culture and a bunch of utter nobgobblers like that lot 😆
"run to the hills" and you'll find a crazy racetrack on a mountain top. just mind melting video!! the turbo study on that track is just other worldly. this has got to be as close to the afterlife you can get here on earth. truly one of a kind cars at a one of a kind place. just a staggeringly bueatiful pair of objects!! cheers
Chris Harris really annoys me. All his videos are 7/6/5 minutes long. You can tell this was an epic trip to Japan where they could of made an hour video with plenty of room to spare. Please start making longer form videos this beautiful...from a very disgruntled viewer😠😤😉
This isn't a chris harris video. You're watching an advert for singer that they've made to put on their own youtube channel. Singer's business is making and selling cars, not vlogging. You should nomore expect the singer leadership team to vlog their business trips than you would do other small companies like Koenigsegg, Hennesey, Guntherwerks, Morgan or any other small volume car makers. Yes they will do lots of promoting and advertising on social media, but they're car companies. Their job is selling cars, not making money from youtube videos. Singer doesn't really care if you're a disgruntled viewer who wants them to vlog - singer's business is selling cars. The important people in this are the ones they invited to the event they filmed, which no doubt got them quite a few orders on their books from japanese car collectors. That was their goal. not vlogging. People need some perspective on what youtube acually is. Making long form content takes expense, time and effort - things they don't want to give above what they already paid to a production company to film this event for them.
@Fr0dders I've watched Chris Harris for over 10 years on TH-cam since he first did The Drive. His videos were always short since then. I'm not focusing on singer videos
If you guys double down on JP local media press and let people have a good look at you guys, that could actually get some traction and maybe attract some hidden potential customers. Let's hope this time in Japan no one will show up with an RS to ask for a conversion 😂
Love Singer and Rob since he was lead for Catherine Wheel, but talking about high standards and at the same time showing the tach needle center wobbling a bit at 4:26 is ironic.
"Having a good idea is just the start of your problems really..." - very few will truly appreciate that one.
Second that. I guess, a lot of people in the spectrum or who are really obsessed know, that an (good) idea has to be followed, steps to be taken and a goal to be pursuit. And you cannot just stop until you finished it. A curse. A gift.
Chris Harris + Singer... I press play! This will be a banger!
Chris Harris is my spirit animal...we are the same age and did the same things in cars as kids and I love how he sees the world.
Singer is the essence of the Porsche cult - absolutely epic video
Love how Chris is just chilling there in a round neck T-shirt amongst others in suits, proper
Car Guy Chris Harris
Brutal, costumo ir à Alemanha, já coloquei na lista de locais a visitar!! 😅
It goes without saying that, for those who have the means to live their passion, being able to drink their coffee while looking at their 911 Singer before hitting the road for the sheer joy of driving is an indisputable privilege!
Singer and Japan is a match made in heaven. Perfection and attention to details. Singer Porsches are so damn beautiful. Perfection.
I'd have watched an hour-long version of this, and more than once.
Looking for my jaw again. It must be somewhere on the floor. Those cars on that circuit!
I can't imagine what it would be like to be part of Singer, I would be genuinely happy sweeping the floors, just to physically see the passion. Awesome film

That track looks awesome. Give me a Nomad 2, to start on that track before heading into the hills…..bliss.

If I won the lottery a Singer would be top of the list
Singer is the list
Great video! 👍🏁🍻
Man, this is otherworldly
Exactly as I expected.
Kudos guys, Kudos
Absolutely stunning and world class facility/cars/video.
This is amazing. Congratulations!

And likely pay a hefty membership fee to drive the circuit. 😂
My favorite automotive journalist, Chris, with Singer, whom is down the street in my city, and in my favorite country = ❤
Agree with the other commenters, i would watch a 30 minute video of this. Keep up the good work.
Just a beautiful video, Singer and Japan just works
Wonderful products and wonderful video. It touches the driving nerve in all of us.

Epic film and partnership. Cant wait to see what comes out of it!
Just watching this video feels like a great experience 😂
Unreal cars these, Dream to get one
what a fantastic video. Please make more!!
One word.....A M A Z I N G !!!
Jesus Christ, how beautiful is this race track!
Feeling devided when it comes to Singer - love and hate. Porsche never intended the 911 to be “a priceless piece of art”
don't worry there are hundreds of thousands Porsches ou there. its not 300, 500 even a thousand if you count every "restomod" companies, that is going to change the Posche ethos
not sure how Porsche's opinion or intent is relevant here
Lovely video so nice to like minded people
Amazing ❤
I don't think any of us,looking at the title, imagined a video like this.
Totally missed opportunity.
What were you expecting?
Finally my favourite car and country
Tooo short. Whyyyyy. What an epic day, place, gathering and all we get is a little peak. 😢
Man, for the love of Singer & Japan full stop!! 🤯😭🫶🏻🤌🏻
Amazing location, so apt.
The gold one is incredible!🤯👌🏻 I don’t know why people moan about the price, I’ll never be able to own one but doesn’t stop me liking the cars! It’s the same with Koenisegg, amazing engineering and style!
This is an example where passion can set a goal in life.
Great to see 😍
very lovely!!!
Instantly liked before the video plays. Am I alone ?
Absolutely not on your own brother, amazing people and machines or should I say works of heart ❤️
Yep
instalike, yep
Amazing
Awesome!
Chris the perfect person for this...
Singer....❤ (and greetings from Italy - la Madre della bellezza = Italy is the homeland of art and beauty ❤❤❤)
❤ amazing group of humans
The home
Welcome to Japan!
My oh my this track!
I will own a Singer one day. I already have the watch, now the car…. 🙏
Chris is much like me, shorts and tee shirt everywhere.
Japan & Singer. The only ones that still pursue absolute perfection!
What?

10/10
Should have been longer - at least a 30 min mini-documentary
What a Beautiful car

Very very cool.
"Things working correctly" he got that right

I'm not really understanding your angst here. So if Singer had this event at VIR in Virginia you wouldn't hold this opinion?
2:36 Thought that also was mind blowing as well! Wanted to timestamp it to come back to.
magarigawa club is the stuff of dreams. something i'll unfortunately never experience in my lifetime
Magarigawa
Magari = curves
Gawa/kawa = river
The name is quite cool!
More poetic indeed than "Circuit automobile de Bourg les Joncs".
Make an hour long video of this please
My algo on TH-cam is 2 words: Chris Harris.
Epic.
Dreamland
I think Japan will be a good place to market these cars.
This track needs to be laser scanned and brought to the mayor racing sims 🎉

This track will be available in Gran Turismo soon, it was leaked via a Japanese SuperGT driver.

They’ve done 10 videos, one of which is 37 minutes - don’t disagree, but sadly automotive media isn’t always consumer lead.
