It might be worth pointing out that there are/were two Peter Kings who played saxophone. One was Ronnie Scott's business partner, and the other, who appears at 7:04 in this episode was not. The Peter King in this episode played alto sax, Ronnie’s partner played tenor.
French-Canadian here. Very interesting video and I learned quite a lot. Ronnie Scott talks at 23:06, then later one hears his music. Does anyone know the title or from which album ? Thanks.
Hardly any footage survives (if it ever existed) of the Organisation in its prime. There's one b/w clip on YT (terrible quality) that shows them performing Hoochie Coochie Man, and that's about it.

Well said John Mclaughlin and Peter King ....British Jazz was world class played by world class musicians...as good as anything anywhere..😎😎😎😎
Excellent show !
Also helps me understand 60s rock!
This is fantastic!
Bill le Sage used to live round the corner from me in Hanwell, West London.
It was a good scene, man.

a wonderful doc but they barely mention british jazz genius Tubby Hayes he made great music in the 60's , sublime
Totally agree
There was a whole segment about him in the first episode
Nothing mentioned about "Weather Report" strange no?........................................
Why would there be? This is about the UK jazz scene.
That well known British band
For my money Mitch Mitchell was a super drummer and unlike Baker , a thoroughly nice man
The clip of the Graham Bond band from that movie is embarrassing. It’s like the Monkees tv show shat out a Jazz combo. It gets shown a lot.

De gustibus and all that.
