Adventure rider from Ohio, currently a watcher. I was rear-ended while on my bike. I was stopped for traffic that was turning, and the car behind me didn't even attempt to stop. She was doing 55 mph when she hit me. I'm recovering from a broken right shoulder, torn rotator cuff, broken left wrist, and a broken rib. But God is good and spared my life to ride again. I hope to ride with you one day, Brock. Keep up the great content.
Whoa. I am sorry to hear that my friend. I’ve had some injuries over the years and understand a little bit about it. It is hard to wait and heal up. But just keep moving forward because you will get better. I thought I would maybe not be able to ride or do adventurous things but I have healed up and made big recoveries. Hope the videos help pass the time and give you inspiration. Keep me updated
Not an adventure rider. I spent a couple of days with you and Craig on the Beignet Done That event earlier this year and thought you were an awesome guy. I watch for entertainment. Been riding for 20 years and I do want to start riding more off-road. Your channel is a great guide and a good resource on top of being entertaining.
I'm a rider from Idaho. I have a garage full of adventure bikes. I'm still waiting for your call. Idaho Brock to Tennessee Brock. May the Peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
ADV rider here. Started on what we called "enduros" back in the early '80s. Ride a KLR650 and KLR250 now. I really enjoy your videos. May God keep you safe in all your travels.
I'm a rider and a viewer. - Initially started viewing after considering buying a triumph x400. - Ran into your videos somewhere along the way. Thank you for all of your content. It's great to get good advice and suggestions. The places you've gone and the people you've met and the things along the way make me want to go more often and explore many more places that I would not have known about otherwise.
@MotoMission. I'm heading to get my new x 400 on Tuesday. I mentioned you to them and will continue to mention you to others, of course. One day I'll send you some of my stickers. And one day I'll get some of yours! - I'm looking into one of the cross country motorcycle training courses that were featured in one of your other videos. This spring.
ADV rider here. Started on Harley’s and spent many moles out west and back to GA on the pavement. Got in to ADV 2 years ago and Im addicted! Love the videos. Inspiring me to ride more and new places to ride.
Pavement bends maybe ;) great views. Your bike sounds great. I’m 67. Started with a mini bike I’ve been riding and racing bikes since. Recently hit a deer dead center and it came out of no where. Totaled my bike. Both wrists still painful and it was five months ago. I’m still alive. Thank you Lord. Still too much pain to ride. Hopefully by spring.
Purely an adventure rider -hopefully heading to Namibia in 2025 and then Baja California - fingers crossed - thanks for taking us along on your adventures
I am a rider… from Vermont as my name suggests 😂. In this episode you are basically in my backyard. Class 4 roads are typically unmaintained roads… especially in the winter. They are also sometimes considered ancient roads. Many can be gnarly and several Jeepers enjoy them as well. Many class 4 are snowmobile trails in the winter. Vermont is great for ADV riding. Also check out the Puppy Dog Route and Dirty Dog Route. I stop at the spring fed water spot often. Good stuff. That mountain is Mt Abraham. Our friends own the Lincoln General Store. Thanks for showing our area 👍
Unfortunately not a rider, I watch your channel for entertainment. I don't watch tv anymore. I watched a different channel that you were on. I think it was the bikes and beards channel so I thought I would check your channel out. So far so good! 👍👍
Hey. I am glad you are here. Yeah I am also on the Bikes and Beards channel. I hope this will give you plenty of adventure and inspiration. Thanks for saying hello.
Plan a ride in norther Idaho or Washington and I would love to come ride with you. We are planning on doing the IDBDR again sometime this summer. No date yet.
I'm a rider, more street than adventure, so I enjoy watching your travels. I live in Central Texas, but grew up in Massachusetts. You're traveling now through areas that I am familiar with. Enjoy the adventure Brock!
I am a rider from NE Oklahoma and ride Arkansas and Missouri all the time and have been all over the US and even Canada. I like watching your show for new ideas and places to ride. I also enjoy that you are a brother in Christ. Love your content and always look forward to Sunday when new videos are out. Ride Safe!
I’m an adventurer watcher. Although my last video I took my little sportster off road on the farm here so I guess I find videos like yours inspiring. Here in southeast Wisconsin you won’t find BDR’s like you’re on. Beautiful ride you have with this series. I’m enjoying it very much!! Thank you!
I started riding a motorcycle two years ago at the age of 65. Got myself a Ténéré 700. Since then I like gravel and dirt under the wheels like nothing else. Rode 40'000 km in under two years.
I'm a rider in west Tennesse. New to adventure/dual sprot riding. Have been riding hills and trails for many years. I also enjoy the more challenging routes.
That section from Corinth to Woodsville is an awesome ride. We ran it the other direction earlier in the season, probably right about when you ran it. Peak foliage. Great riding.
I'm a rider and new to adventure riding. I live in Vermont and have been watching your vids to gain some knowledge of this BDR ride. From other videos I've seen, my sense is you've left out footage of the more difficult trail conditions encountered on the Vermont sections of this BDR. Regardless, its been very fun watching and thank you for taking time to put this series together. Much appreciated. - Mark
Yeah. We can show everything. But honestly I didn’t find too much that was extremely difficult to ride. Sometimes roads are closed and we have to go around. Maybe there is a section of hard that I have not seen. I always choose the hard routes Glad you are watching. The nebdr is very enjoyable to ride
@@MotoMission. Thanks for the reply Brock. It occurred to me after posting, that maybe the more difficult sections were on roads that had been closed due to this summer's flooding. Looking forward your upcoming videos showing New Hampshire and Maine. Thanks again for putting this series together. It's quite enjoyable.
Watching as a rider for the preview of where I might ride . As an owner of a Tiger 800 who brings the wife along often I like to see where you might be able to ride 2 up and enjoy but no scare the wife .Also when I do get out with just the boys where the real fun is at . So thanks for the ride along .
Brock, what drone you using? "Santa" got Bryce a drone for Christmas this year. I didnt spring for a DJI, but got him a Potensic Atom, it's got a 3 -axis gimbal. Has great reviews, but not quite the price of most DJI's.
I’m an adventure rider. I live in southern New Mexico near the CDT. I’m enjoying your New England video series because I grew up there. It’s really nice seeing all the fall colors!
Another adventure rider here. I try to get out and about every summer. I'm from Ruidoso new Mexico but have been in florida for 30+yrs so I also ride/camp all winter down here. Lets ride:)
I’m a adv rider. Just going along for the ride with ya! Mostly ride in Ga and Tenn. Planning my bucket list rides off of your vids my friend. Look forward to Sunday mornings for your vids. Let’s Ride!
My wife and I are riders. She rides the 800 DE, and I ride the Africa Twin. We live in North Idaho and look forward to traveling a lot next year. Thanks for the great content, it's always entertaining! Maybe we'll see you out there next year.
I used to be an adventure rider. Now with bad knees Im a watcher. But in the summer I try to follow some of your roads with my family in my Toyota 4runner.
Life time harley rider WANTING to get into ADV. After losing my left leg Im trying to get a feel for what Im getting into. I really enjoy watching your rides
Not am adventure rider yet, but I ride. I like your content because it's showing me a lot of the great things that await out there on these trails. I'm lucky enough to have a BDR nearby that I can ride once I swap my bike for an ADV style one.
I am a rider. I really enjoy seeing the sights as you ride as well as watching you interact with the locals. I'd love to go on a trip like this. Also, is that a Zumo XT? I just bought one (for $150 brand new!) and it is about the easiest electronic device to set up and use, that I've ever had. I feel like it's going to completely change my motorcycle riding life.
Barnard, Lincoln and the Warren Store...three excellent representations of the quintessential VT General Store......I have a place in Pomfret, VT and it's a shame the BDR puts you on pavement before and after Barnard...so may great dirt and class 4 rds in the area...
Rider from NH. I’ve been riding motorcycles for a while but new to adventure riding. The northeast has a ton of old roads that are a ton of fun and a lot I’m not skilled enough to ride my big heavy Super Tenere on yet. Looking forward to seeing your next video.
I've ridden since a week before my 1981 marriage on roads including dirt roads. Bought Honda NX250 15 years ago for trails and dual sports. Then KTM EXC 250 with knobbies for the same. Now ride first year '13 GS mostly on blacktop and dirt roads with and without my wife, no gullies on that big bike, no knobbies, no BDRs yet. PA BDRX will be my first.
An interesting thing to know about our covered bridges. During snow seasons, snow was deliberately pushed onto the bridge and packed down, being that travel during that season was done on sleigh. Either horse-drawn or ox cart. They used to pack down the snow on all the roads with huge wooden rollers pulled by horse or ox so the sleighs or sleds could travel. Anyway Brock, I use to ride, DRZ 400, but now travel in my Land Rover. A few vids on my Onasled Overland page. Ive been watching Overland and off road travel vids for years. Your's is and has been my favorite, even though I don't ride anymore. ❤❤
Ahhhh. That’s so cool to hear. And so interesting. I had no idea. I grew up in Louisiana and never saw snow or covered bridges This is fun for me to see
I’m a rider from the most flat country in the world. I have to drive for hours to catch the nice trails. here it’s only sand and mud. I love watching your adventures. driving a gsa and my latest buy is a cf450 mt for the single trails and harder sections of the tet (trans europe trail) next summer is turkey to Georgië last year the balkan. greets from your Duch friend. hope to visit USA some time. love your backroads
That sounds like a great adventure. Would love to hear about how it goes. Please keep me updated. I love Europe. And have wanted to spend more time in turkey. Ps. I love Georgian food !!!
Perfect time for a video because it is raining here. I am a rider though I prefer single track. My long distant rides are in my Silverado so I can take my mtn. bike, kayak and motorcycle.
I’m an ADV rider from GA. I have a job, family, and mortgage, so I mostly just “watch” these multi-day BDR adventures. How does one take all these adventures and still pay the bills?? Great videos/content and I don’t believe you’re 49. My 49 yr old arse has a ton of gray in my beard….you ain’t 49. 😂🤣
69 and have ridden and owned motorcycles since I was 19. My first bike was a road bike that did see gravel some. Then it was almost exclusively pavement until probably mid 50s. I bought a DR650 to go with my touring bike. I enjoyed it a lot but keep my speed down because of not wanting to fall. Have a Super Tenere now and a Chinese 250. I watch you with thoughts of where to go but I am really a much better road rider than gravel road rider. Never been down on gravel which probably shows how slow I am.
I ride but not adventure riding, I rode alot of logging roads tote rodes and trails in my 20's I'm now 57 and would like to get into adventure riding, maybe not the hard core trails but logging roads and dirt roads, im watching for entertainment and research purposes, looking at buying a mid sized bike in the 700 ish range, love the content looks beautiful out there, stay safe brother.
I didn't know you where here in Nashville, I'm in the process of retiring out of the military, if you've ever seen blackhawks flying around here that's us, based at Nashville Airport. Lookin forward to some alone time on the road to hopefully clear my mind of some things I've seen and accept the reality of friends I've lost. Thinkin northwest.
I have been seeing those circl across my house I hope you can find some solitude and rest. Let the scriptures help you as you process. Thanks for your service.
I haven't seen the other days of this ride yet but this one looks like a beautiful, beginner friendly ride. Heck, maybe even the GROM and Monkey could handle most of this one.🙂
Class four is just an unmaintained road. Could be anything from nice smooth gravel road to damn near impossible. Theres a good mix of both in the area you left from.
You asking your last episode if people watch this because the writers or just watch it for interest well I’ve been a writer my whole life on 72 just lost my eyesight this year and can’t ride anymore so I appreciate and enjoy watching videos and thank you very much
@ Have to stay pretty close to WV. We (wife, daughter, son in law and granddaughter) go on camping trips. Son in law and I pack the bikes with camping gear ( he rides KLX 400), and the girls pack up in the truck. I think we just missed you, when you were doing the MABDR. We were camping / riding around Harpers Ferry.
I used to be a rider, had kids and became a nonrider. Now I want to be a rider again. From AZ but have been traveling for the last 5 years. Jesus is my Lord and savior.
Adv and dual sport rider from nw Arkansas love the fall colors up there, the north east is the only area of the country I haven’t ridden, going to change that. How you getting along with the t7? Loving mine, suspension upgrades is the only thing left to do
Nwa! Nice spot. Loving the t7. Suspension was the best thing I have done to it. Major improvement. I suggest Frontline Suspension. I’m amazed at the difference.

@MotoMission. a funny note. With the snow we have up north. The last 2 to 3 days can be made a bdr -x that can be done on a snowmobile now.
That section from Corinth to Woodsville is an awesome ride. We ran it the other direction earlier in the season, probably right about when you ran it. Peak foliage. Great riding.

This is fun for me to see

Yeah. Good idea. I hope you do. Lemme know
Perfect time for a video because it is raining here. I am a rider though I prefer single track. My long distant rides are in my Silverado so I can take my mtn. bike, kayak and motorcycle.

Glad you can be entertained and find some info. Holler if you have questions

New ADV rider in the NC Sandhills.
Welcome to the addiction.
Haha. Well I hope you make make a weekend trip up to Tn and ride with me soon.
Fun fun. Are the red sections harder or is it just a way to organize the areas of the route? Fun vid as always!!
They are harder. And in some places they are very difficult. Sometimes not much of a challenge at all.
As long as you are having fun ! Awesome
Rider!
That’s right
Adventure rider!
Love it
I ride but not adventure riding, I rode alot of logging roads tote rodes and trails in my 20's I'm now 57 and would like to get into adventure riding, maybe not the hard core trails but logging roads and dirt roads, im watching for entertainment and research purposes, looking at buying a mid sized bike in the 700 ish range, love the content looks beautiful out there, stay safe brother.
That is a great idea. I recommend the t7
I have been seeing those circl across my house
I hope you can find some solitude and rest. Let the scriptures help you as you process. Thanks for your service.
Nowadays mostly roadrider from 🇫🇮.Fjr 1300 🏍️🧑🦳
Nice. Welcome to the adventure
I haven't seen the other days of this ride yet but this one looks like a beautiful, beginner friendly ride. Heck, maybe even the GROM and Monkey could handle most of this one.🙂
This is monkey business for sure
Maybe adjust your suspension clickers😮
There are clickers ?
Class four is just an unmaintained road. Could be anything from nice smooth gravel road to damn near impossible. Theres a good mix of both in the area you left from.
I wasn’t sure what class 4 meant. Sounded intimidating. But it was fine I really enjoyed it
I’m a rider that transitioned from dirt bikes to adv 890r. Still ride dirt bikes tho !!
You sounds like me. I did the same
You asking your last episode if people watch this because the writers or just watch it for interest well I’ve been a writer my whole life on 72 just lost my eyesight this year and can’t ride anymore so I appreciate and enjoy watching videos and thank you very much

Viewer and rider of DRZ400, still punch a clock…so trips longer than 5-6 days have to wait…
Haha. I understand. Just rode when you can and enjoy life dude.
Ah no way. Hope to cross paths someday.
@ me too brother! Would enjoy meeting you two.
I’m a watcher and a rider but being in Tex’s, Houston, adventure is far from us .mm
Texas has some new adventure routes opening. Keep an eye on ridebdr.com
@ yes that’s right but everything is bigger in Texas and 97% of the land is private so it’s complicated.
I used to be a rider, had kids and became a nonrider. Now I want to be a rider again. From AZ but have been traveling for the last 5 years. Jesus is my Lord and savior.
That’s so great to hear
Age 68 XR650L and Africa Twin

You better. Haha
On road rider, too old to start adventure riding, afraid of falling down too much.
Well I’m glad you are living vicariously. Get outside and enjoy as much as possible
