It isn’t exactly common to give someone else a big amount of money and saying “do whatever you want with this.” She also instantly reacted joyfully when she saw us, not the way you would commonly react to someone you’re just meeting for work. She gave off a strong vibe of wanting to make up for lost time.
Seeing Firefly became depressed after Caelus' departure is heartbreaking for me. About the "total destruction" Blade mentioned, I can imagine it was Firefly lashing out because Caelus' departure really hurt her.
10/10! this is a perfect origin, the start of their love story. I love the fact that Caelus have amnesia and doesn't remember Firefly which makes it even more sad 😢 but atleast he will make new memories

@YindigoYangMonk In hindsight, the "Scorched Earth Operations" already came from her time as a soldier, and her Caelus bundled up sleeping together means that she's probably not sleeping. But like you said, this was before her release. And it's one of the most wholesome things I've seen, as a fan of this ship.
