I am unable to find ""Indicate on screen"" option inside Get Text Activity .... Its populating ""Indicate Target on Screen."" ..... When i am clicking here it is asking "" The Current Activity must be added inside a use application/Browser activity. So, i added Application/browser activity and then clicking on "" Indicate application to automate"" but sad part is its selecting entire pdf not only the amount .. @Rakesh Sir please help me here , as i am new learner of UiPath.

I had the same problem with Sumatra PDF software. The problem was solved when I tried it on Acrobat Reader and changed the settings shown in the 1st chapter of this series.

The Get Text activity requires the pdf file to stay open in the background so it captures the element value we indicate. In case you need to capture the values without keeping the pdf files you need to use read pdf text or read pdf with ocr activity
hi sir, it shows chrome legacy window insted of getting the actual text. and my pdf file is not opening in adobe reader im not able to activate the extensions

Hi sir i enabled i map and secure app from gmail but still iam getting error RemoteException wrapping MailKit.Security.SslHandshakeException: An error occurred while attempting to establish an SSL or TLS connection. One possibility is that you are trying to connect to a port which does not support SSL/TLS. The other possibility is that the SSL certificate presented by the server is not trusted by the system for one or more of the following reasons: 1. The server is using a self-signed certificate which cannot be verified. 2. The local system is missing a Root or Intermediate certificate needed to verify the server's certificate. 3. The certificate presented by the server is expired or invalid.
check all of these parameters a small spelling mistake may lead to this:- IMAp server address, your gmail id written without any error, password and SSL port number. Cross verify with the video and check step by step. Generally while writing in the small property panel you may miss a ". " or a spelling mistake!

Try to uninstall and reinstall adobe reader and check Bhavana
