- “ไอริณ” สาวสวยมากความสามารถ กรรมการผู้บริหารบริษัท “บรรณสรณ์” ผู้ถูกคนรอบข้างยกให้เธอเป็น “นางร้าย” เพราะนิสัยเอาแต่ใจ และไม่กลัวใคร แต่สิ่งที่เธอแสดงออกเป็นเพียงแค่การ “แอ๊บ” เพราะแท้ที่จริงแล้ว เธอเพียงอยากให้ “อิน” น้องสาวที่อายุน้อยกว่าเธอถึง 7 ปี เป็นที่รักจากคนรอบข้าง และโดดเด่นขึ้นมา แต่ถึงเธอจะแอ๊บเป็นนางร้ายยังไง ก็ไม่สามารถทำให้ “น้ำชา” น้องชายข้างบ้านหยุดรักเธอได้
ไอริณ และน้ำชา เคยแอบคบกันตั้งแต่สมัยยังอยู่ในวัยเรียน และด้วยเหตุผลบางอย่างทำให้ไอริณขอเลิกกับน้ำชา น้ำชาเสียใจมาก โดยไม่รู้เหตุผลว่าเลิกเพราะอะไร เมื่อเวลาผ่านไป น้ำชาเรียนจบเป็นสัตวแพทย์ได้สำเร็จ และเข้ามาทำงานที่โรงพยาบาลสัตว์
ตลอดเวลาที่ทั้งคู่ไม่ได้พบกัน น้ำชาไม่เคยลืมไอริณเลย จนทั้งคู่กลับมาพบกันอีกครั้ง น้ำชาเลยมาตื๊อเพื่ออยากกลับมาสานสัมพันธ์ต่อ และทําทุกอย่างเพื่อที่จะคบกับไอริณอีกให้ได้ แต่ไอริณไม่เชื่อว่าน้ำชาจะรักเธอ น้ำชาจึงต้องพิสูจน์ให้ไอริณเห็นว่าเขารักเธอจริง
แต่การเริ่มต้นความรักครั้งใหม่กับคนเดิมของน้ำชาในครั้งนี้มีอุปสรรคมากมาย ทั้ง “อิน” น้องสาวของไอริณ ที่แอบชอบน้ำชามาตั้งแต่แรก พยายามขัดขวาง และทำให้ไอริณกับน้ำชาเข้าใจผิดกันโดยร่วมมือกับ “จิน” ทนายหนุ่มประจำตระกูลของไอริณ ที่สร้างสถานการณ์ให้ตนได้ช่วยเหลือไอริณ เพื่อทำให้คุณปู่ และไอริณเชื่อใจ และยังมี “พลอยจันทร์” เจ้าของฟาร์มสุนัขที่พยายามเข้ามาช่วยเหลือน้ำชาในเรื่องธุรกิจ และพัฒนาโรงพยาบาลสัตว์ให้ดีขึ้น โดยมีสุนัขคู่ใจอย่าง “แอ็กชั่น” เป็นข้ออ้างในการใกล้ชิดกับน้ำชา
ความรักที่เหมือนจะง่าย แต่ก็มีปัญหามากมายทั้งเรื่องครอบครัว เรื่องงาน หรือแม้แต่เพื่อนสนิทคนใกล้ตัวก็วนเวียนมาทำให้ความรักครั้งนี้ยากขึ้นไปอีก เรื่องราวความรักของทั้งสองจะลงเอยอย่างไร
