I have viewed a number of LX 100 reviews, this review showed better image quality available with the lens. I think this occurred in part because you really like the camera and know how to get the most from it. Thanks for a great review.
Thanks. great review. I love this camera. A Panasonic lens of similar quality would cost more than this camera. So the value is amazing. Really fun camera and very useful when a bigger camera is just too intrusive.
I've searched high and low online for that case. Found some cheap knock-offs, but not the one in this video. Please provide a link or a source if you would. Thanks!
@@sdhute Regarding the color, compared with the Sigma, she's ok but the Sigma is better. The Sigma is in her own league. The LX100 II is comparable with my Nikon 7100.
Thanks and Happy New Year 2021. I am wondering what's going to happen to the compact camera market in the future.... Well we'll see... * The LX100 II is pretty amazing camera. If Panasonic Lumix want to upgrade it and come with a mark III, what to you think about a tilting screen, and a dual ISO & Shutter Speed dial like the X100V? * The FZH1 hybrid camera is a nice concept bridge. A crazy compact 1" 4K camcorder with still capabilities that can rival other 1" Camcorder on the market (Panasonic, Sony, Canon, JVC). Hope Panasonic has plan for this camera as well. Adding a dual card slot could be a premier for a compact. The internal zoom mechanism is amazing (but a brighter lens f/2.4-4 could be great). A red record button like the SH1 / S5 / GH5S + red indicator (body- and/or LCD-like G100-) while recording. The current FZH1 camera body design has a lot of customizable button that can mimic a camcorder => useful for shooting stills and shooting videos (separate). 2 or 3 lens ring for Focus - Zoom - Aperture/Iris? Wish you and all Panasonic personnel a successful new year.
Hi, great video, great camera, do you read the comments you get because along with a few others who have asked before I would like a link to where you got the case from please.
I am 72 and looking at this camera for taking bird shots, close up and that water shot you showed. I had the Olympus Pen 10 with different lens, but with having a slight tremor found it difficult to keep changing lens so returned it. Would you recommend this and how far does it zoom? I know you say 3x but I don't understand all this jargon. I would like to see something then shoot. I also am no good holding anything like the very small point and shoots, I already have one and it's too small to hold.
I’m not understanding the crop dial. If changing from 4:3 to 16:9 etc and it just uses that part of the sensor, why not just shoot everything in 4:3 and crop in post? Am I missing something? Thanks
Because the crop dial gives separate crops of the image circle, so the 16:9 crop has more pixels in the horizontal dimension than the 4:3 crop. So cropping the 4:3 results in using less of the sensor.
I had the LX100 Mk1, and had a lot of problems with dust on the sensor, had to send it away twice which costs a lot! Is the Mk2 better as far as dust concerned? Otherwise it was a great camera.
The battery life isn't that good, I think its rated for less than 300 but I carry a spare as they are very small anyway. but it does have USB charging. Panasonic says three hours from empty which seems about right.
I use the cell phone remote app to take pictures from difficult angles. Not as simple as a flip screen but very easy to do as the phone gives total remote control..

Direct talk from a photographer to the basic love for you "own camera" and some tecknical stuff, but your point of view is unique! Thank you
Great video. Just got mine😁
The shots in this video look so good. This camera seems to have a very special lens. Tempting…even in 2022.
Great work and useful videos many thanks

Tack för senast Martin! Riktigt grymt att se dig i bion! Intressant kamera!
Tack detsamma Arber! Såg att du släppt videon vi pratade ihop! Ska kolla på den nu!
Thank you for the presentation, very well done.
Looks like Olympus colors
It would be a awesome walk around camera
High quality content! Well done!!
Great Vid! I ordered this camera yesterday. And I think, she will be a hard competitor to my beloved Sigma DP2 Quattro in some ways.
How is the lx100ii ?? I've been eying it too. Does the zoom come all of the way out even when set to a smaller focal length ?
Quite simple. At 24mm (max. wide angle) it comes out 2/3.

@@innerlight7018 Do you still use your LX100 II? Any dust issues?
@@gianniche Nope.
Can you please link the leather case for purchase purposes?
Thanks for the overview of the LX100 II. I really like that leather camera case. Where can I buy that or at least the name of the manufacturer.
Did you ever find the case? I have this camera and am interested as well in the case. Thanks.
Thanks and Happy New Year 2021.

Also, where did you find the leather carrying case?
I am wondering the same thing!
Can i ask where did you get this case from please
Where do you get the leather "bag"
Hi Martin, please tell me where you purchased that camera bag for your LUMIX LX100, it looks premium and good looking too. Regards, Rick.
I just wonder how it would do as a one wedding camera :) I mean quality looks great, 1.7 and 2.8 at long end sounds pretty good.
Nice video! Really liked the music in the video.
Very nice colors in the photos. Does it do monochrome also?
Three monochrome filters for JPGS, basically this is the GX9 (in the us naming system) with a fixed lens.
Do you have more videos of this camera?? Can say me the links please.
I wish Panasonic made the sensor fixed 3:2 AR and gave us the full 20 MP res. Most ppl don’t care about the two other ARs.
I have to ask what is the lens hood and does it interfere with the lens's function at any focal length? Thank you.
I can only wiosh for the MKIII.. using the new sensor... that would be killer.... honestly

It is nine months since I last watched it. I have a question. Can you do photo stacking in camera.

when using flash, what ´s the syncronicity speed? (cause i don´t find that data)
Where the mic jack? 700 shot battery life? USB C fast charging? Flip Screen? Good review though very well talked about!

Which one should i buy Lumix G85 or LUMIX LX100 ii? Im more into videography.
Get the g85
Your doughtier soo pretty
I have been trying to get hold of a case for the LX100M2 similar to the one in this video. Anyone know where to buy it?
would be perfect with a flip screen!!
I use the cell phone remote app to take pictures from difficult angles. Not as simple as a flip screen but very easy to do as the phone gives total remote control..
How many hours can this timelapse camera record? Is it possible to record without batteries on the cable (USB)?
Great!
Are you guys coming up with the Lumix LX100 mark III anytime soon? Thanks.
Panasonic said no- phone cameras killed that idea they said.
@@conchscooter oooooh what a shame
I agree. A flip screen and weatherproofing in even a slightly larger body would have been nice.
Where do you get the ND filters and what do use to shoot astro photography? Great video and can't wait to receive my new camera!
Can’t agree. Too many negatives.
